Lady Van Helsing/"Young heir to Wethertop estate vanished!"
From Create Your Own Story
The article reads:
"St Julian Smythe, caretaker of the Wethertop estate, reported to police yesterday that the heir to said estate, Lucian Wethertop, age 12, disappeared from Wethertop manor five days prior. Smythe, who delayed reporting the disappearance in hopes that a private consulting detective he had hired would be able to find the boy, claims that the boy vanished without a trace from his room shortly after nightfall. The room was locked from the inside and on the fourth storey, baffling police as to how the boy was able to leave the room at all. No signs of a struggle were found at the scene, leading police to suspect that the disappearance is a matter of boyish rebellion and not foul play."
A young boy, vanished without a trace from inside a locked room. The Wethertop manor is fairly secluded, set overlooking a small village far from any of the major cities. If not for the family's somewhat legendary wealth you doubt that the report would make the Times at all.
Such a case is strange enough to warrant your investigation. But where to begin?
