You reach under the sofa and roll the baseball bat out from underneath. Moving away from the girl, she looks at you quizzically as you grip the handle of the bat. "I could always knock it out of the park at school," you tell her, as you prepare to make the swing.
"Why are you holding that ba-" You bring the baseball bat down onto her head, and with a loud crack she's out of the game. You think you see blood oozing from under her red hair, but there's no time for that now. You quickly wrap yourself in a dressing gown, put the bat back under the sofa, and go to the door.
"Howdy!" You answer the door with a joyous smile on your face, and see a girl stood there in thick-rimmed glasses and some scruffy clothes. She has a newspaper in hand.
"I was just gonna drop this outside your door when nobody answered, but I guess I'll give it to you now." She shrugs. Clearly a bit of an emo teen, she doesn't seem to care about your red-face and nakedness except for a dressing gown. As you take in her appearance, you realise that behind the glasses and cheap outfit, she's quite attractive. Her black hair is long and straight, and streaked with dark blue. Her skin is pale and blemishless.
"I'll be going now, then." She moves on to the next apartment on her newspaper round.
