You decide to sit next to Norman, you don't want to have to deal with Samantha's shit and Wayne is a straight up psychopath.
You settle next to Norman but he doesn't look at you at all. He instead is watching the teacher and seems to listening intently. You take stock of Norman. He's very tall and even has kind of broad shoulders but is skinny and gangling. His acne isn't as bad as some of his dweeb friends but he has a few marks on his face. He also parts is ear length hair down the middle like an 8-year old choir boy.
Your turn your attention back to your teacher in time to hear her say "I want you to divide into pairs of two. You are going to be working on a group project about comparing the themes of Jane Eyre to other novels."
The class instantly broke into pairs and you agree to pair with Norman. He still doesn't talk to you once while the teacher explains the project so it is up to you to say "Why don't we get a head start on this. You can come over tonight and we can review." He nods and agrees to meet you at your car after school.
Classes rush by and it's the end of the day before you know it. You head back to your car and find Norman standing awkwardly near it. You drive back to your place and head in. You expect Norman to make a comment about how huge your parents' house is but he says nothing. You take him upstairs to your room and pull up to chairs to your desk.
"So for this project I was thinking..." you say.
