You see Naruto running towards an obviously-placed bell under a tree.
Tsukio barks in alarm.
"How is he that stupid?!" You rush out of your hiding place and charge at him.
"No, you idiot!" You tackle him to the ground.
"Hey! What's the big idea! That's my bell! Mine!" Naruto shoves you off.
"Dolt! It's a trap!" You shout back at him, pointing to the rope trailing up the tree trunk.
"Eh?" Naruto squints to see the camoflauged string.
"No one can be that stupid!" You rage and begin to wonder if its all just an act.
"Who're you calling stupid!" He yells back.
You face palm and take a few deep breaths.
"If the bait is obvious... Don't take it!" You repeat protocal trapping advice.
Tsukio barks in agreement and nudges his way towards the bell. He carefully approaches it, tapping the ground with his paw every other inch until he finds the noose hidden under some foliage and dirt. He digs at it until the rope snaps up and flies toward the branch its tied to with nothing but air hanging in its trap.
"Good boy, Tsukio," You praise as the pup pounces on the bell.
"WHAAA?!" Naruto yells in disbelief as you smirk and offer a mocking peace-sign.
You spin around when you hear Tsukio yelp and the jingle of a bell.
"Tsu-!" You cut yourself off when you see the pup hanging from a rope by his leg and the bell back on the ground.
A trap within a trap... Crafty motherf-
"Maybe you should take your own advice," Kakashi appears below Tsukio and takes up the bell. "A ninja must see through deception."
"Hey! I thought the puppy disabled that!" Naruto pointed angrily; and loudly.
You flinch at the sound level.
"He did," Kakashi answered. "The first one, anyway."
You snarl in anger. No one messes with an Inuzuka's dog and gets away with it.
"Beast Mimicry!" You surge your chakra.
You take on a wilder stance as your nails and teeth elongate.
You charge forward with enough force to take down a tree. Kakashi dodges your kicks and moves out of the way of your punches.
You're not surprised. When Inuzuka's go into Beast mode, their speed and strength become dangerously enhanced. If you block an attack from a Beast mode Inuzuka, you're more than likely to break a few bones. The best way is to avoid the hit altogether. Kakashi was a Jonin so it was probably common knowledge to him.
Eventually, you get an upper hand and swing your leg around to connect with his stomach in a blow that would've most certainly broken a couple ribs.

In a puff of smoke, Kakashi is replaced by a log that splits in half under the pressure of your attack.
You growl unhappily.
You stomp back to the tree and use your claws to slash the rope and free Tsukio. The pup looks a bit frustrated, but otherwise unharmed.
"You let him get away!" Naruto shouts.
"So, what are you gonna do about it, dolt?" You provoke him.
He growls angrily. "I'll show you!"
With that, Naruto Body Flicker'd to go chase down Kakashi.
What will you and Tsukio do?
