Girl Scout Camp/Take Zoe back to her tent

From Create Your Own Story

“If you’re such a big girl, you should be able to sleep one night on your own, right?” you reply. “Do you have any idea how much trouble we would both get into if anyone found out you were here?”

“But…” she sniffs.

“I’ll show you back to your tent and tuck you in. Or I can take you to Mrs. Lowenstern’s tent if you want to sleep with her.” You give her a hug. “There’s nothing to be worried about at night.”

Zoe gets her sniffles under control and says, “Okay.”

You help her up and crawl out of your tent. She starts heading towards her own tent so you quietly walk her there through the woods. When you reach Zoe’s tent, you make a big show of looking all around the outside through the brush, and then examining the inside, looking under the bag and in the corners.

“See, no monsters,” you say to her. “Everything’s safe.” You lead Zoe inside and tuck her into her sleeping bag. “Sweet dreams,” you say to her, giving her a light kiss on her forehead.

“You too,” she replies. “Good night.”

You close up her tent and head back to yours. You tumble into your sleeping bag and quickly fall asleep.
