It isn't easy. You have to gather quite a few ingredients,and since you don't have a room to store them in, you need to find a temporary storage space. You settle for an abandoned cave in the forest, and over the next few weeks gather what you need.

The final ingredient -- 15 drops of fresh human blood -- proves trickiest to get. But one day you catch a break. As you're about to venture forth from your cave, a human hunter comes nearby. He's attacked and killed by a bear, and you collect a little of the fresh blood, just enough for your mixture.

Adding everything together and mixing it with fresh water yields about 2 cups of a frothing liquid. You drink it down.

You fall unconscious for a bit. It was early morning when you drank the potion. Now the sun is high in the sky.

You rise. You feel blood pumping through your veins. Your heart is beating. Your muscles are flexing. You no longer feel cold on the inside. You feel alive!

You are once again human!

And instead of brains, you feel a strong desire to eat a hamburger.
