You hesitate for several minutes. You don't want to flash anybody, but you really don't want to go to jail. Finally, you decide that it can't be that bad to flash somebody once or twice. "I can't believe this I'm doing this," you say, "but I'll do what you want."
"Great!" Lindsay says, "this is going to be so much fun. Let me get my camera." She runs to her room and comes back with a video camera.
"Wait, what are you doing with that?" you ask when you see the video camera.
"I just need to see what we are working with," Lindsay explains, "and I need a little bit of insurance in case you don't hold up to your end of the bargain."
"What do you mean? Insurance?"
"Yes. Insurance. I'll make a video of you stripping naked right now. Tomorrow I'll fix your little money problem. If you back out of our arrangement then I will send the video to all of your friends and family and post it on the internet. If you keep your end of the deal, I'll give you the video to keep."
You don't know how to respond. So, you just stand there thinking about what Lindsay is saying.
"Come on," Lindsay finally says, "I'm ready when you are." She holds up the video camera.
You still don't move. You are starting to have second thoughts.
"Miranda," Lindsay says sternly, "would you rather go to prison? I'm sure what would happen to you there is a lot worse than this. Here, I'll turn on some music. That will help."
She turns on some music.
