Some basic things to know:
FP: your Fish Points, these let you catch more fish, or certain fish more easily.
Rod Quality: ranked from 1-10, 10 being the best. The higher quality, the better you get at fishing, and you can catch bigger fish.
Bait Quality: ranked from 1-10, 10 being the best. You need at least 1 Bait to catch a fish.
Money: Money($) is used to buy Bait amd better Fishing Rods.
You need to keep track of this stuff. You start with 100 FP, which isn't much, as you need 1,000,000 FP to even think about catching The Big One, Rod Quality 1, 10 Bait, and $20. Bait costs $5 per Bait Quality no. For example, to find the cost of Quality 3 Bait, you would multiply 5 by 3, or 5 x 3, which equals $15. To buy a Rod, multiply $20 by the Rod Quality. You have 1 month to catch The Big One.
You head off to the river, and start fishing. You catch a trout, a rainbow trout, and a carp. Together, it's worth $60. Delete 3 Bait. Day 1 is over.
