Sarah walked into the Hope Medical Office and looked at the guide to find the GI department. Turn Left, Walk down the hallway and find the sign for the GI clinic. She followed the directions and stood looking at the sign. Letting out a sigh, she walked into the clinic and up to the reception desk.
"I'm Sarah North and I'm here to see Dr. Lenir." Sarah told the receptionist quietly.
"Alright. All I need you to do is fill out this form that goes over what symptoms you're having. I'll give you the clipboard and pen and then you can take a seat." The receptionist said with a smile.
"Thank you." Sarah whispered, grabbing the clipboard.
Sarah went and sat on one of the cushioned chairs in the waiting room. She read over the symptoms that were on the list and blushed. Constipation, check, Cramps, check, Difficulty using the bathroom, check, Gas and Bloating, check. She felt embarrassed putting her symptoms on paper.
"Sarah North." The nurse shouted into the room. Sarah stood up and walked over to the nurse. The nurse checked her height and weight and then took her into a room.
"The doctor requested that you took off your clothes and put on a gown so he can do a physical examination. I'm pretty sure you can leave your bra and underwear on but if you want you can take them off. I'll give you some privacy to change and I'll let the doctor know you're ready." The nurse handed Sarah the gown and left the room.
Sarah took off her shirt and pants but was unsure if she should remove her bra and underwear.
