Who needs the neighbor, anyway? I just escaped a rapist! I'm completely capable of dealing with whatever's up there right now.
Still feeling slightly hesitant about the whole idea, you decide to head upstairs to check it out longer. You pass by your sister's room and, upon impulse, knock on the door.
"Oh right, no one is here--"
You hear scrambling and a quick zip, before your cousin, Brenda, answers the door excitedly, slightly red faced. Clearly she wasn't expecting you from her relieved sigh.
"Oh, hey Maria. What's up?" was all she could come up with.
"What do you mean? Why are you here? Why are you in Sally's room?"
"Er, nothing much. Just fancied a chat so I decided to come by and visit. Are you busy or something?"
You can see her face work as she tries to formulate the best response to the question, and her face reddens from looking behind you.
You look back. It was your sister, apparently just finishing up in the bathroom.
"She needed a last minute ride with me for college tours," Sally tells you. "Aren't you supposed to be in school right now?"
"Er, something came up along the way," you say, realizing your body is still cursed with that rotten stench.
"Alright. Well, since you're here, wanna head over as well?"
