Erin, walking down the memory lane: Aimless
From Create Your Own Story
The street lights give you comfort as you reach them but you can hear the monsters behind you, they’re chasing you, they’re closing on you. You jump into an alley and hide behind a garbage bin. They seem to lose your track.
You seat to take a break and catch your breath. You grab your radio and try to reach the central for backup. All you get is static, you turn it off. You close your eyes.
This is not how the night was supposed to unfold.
And then it hits you: remorse. You’ve just abandoned your training officer, your friend. You should be having a coffee with him now, talking about his children. He should not be laying in a pool of his own blood. You should have stayed, you should have fought, you could have done something. This is not right, this is not right …
An powerful explosion brings you out of your reverie. Just a few streets away there is a gas station and the sound came from that direction.
Will you investigate or cowardly hide in the shadows, waiting for all this to blow over?
