Change your mind and try to hitch a ride with the men

You don't know whether these men are good or bad. Do I really want to carjack them?, you ask yourself. Deciding to play nice, you put your gun away and step out from behind the boulder.

Unfortunately, your sudden appearance makes the men think it's still an ambush. The man in the back seat grabs an AK-47 and points it at you. You freeze, raising your hands.

Alia springs into action, kneeing the man holding her right in the groin, sending him down like a sack of potatoes. At the same time, she whips out her Smith & Wesson and shoots the guy with the AK as he begins turning towards her. He falls, a round red hole in the middle of his forehead.

Whipping out your Browning, you see the third man reaching for a gun and kill him with a single well-placed shot. But then you hear another shot. Whirling, you see the remaining man with one hand on his wounded crotch and the other holding a pistol. Alia is lying motionless on the ground, a large red stain over her heart. "Allah ackbar," he snarls.

You shoot him dead as he starts pointing the gun at you, then kneel over Alia's corpse. "NOOOOOOOO!"

Eventually, you make it safely home with the data drive, but for the rest of your life you blame yourself for changing the plan and getting Alia killed.
