From Create Your Own Story

Great, Now that we have that out of the way, tell me which of these sounds nice to you:

You grew up in a village a short distance from a large city, you were just one child in a large family and often found yourself in trouble while trying to get attention. You were attentive in your studies, you did well enough in your combat training, and knew your way around animal traps. You decided to leave home when you found out that your older brother had seduced your betrothed wife-to-be, and you are now looking for adventure.

You grew up in a fishing village just off the coast. In the summer the weather was often very pleasant; but during the Winter there was a bitter cold wind blowing off the choppy waves, and in the Spring there was strong winds, pounding rains, and the threat of typhoons. You never liked being on the water or the smell of fish, in fact you spent your adolescence actively avoiding the life the fishing village had to offer you. You spent much of your time with your studies, and as a result you had received a letter of invitation to an Academy in a nearby city. Shortly after leaving your village, and arriving in the city, you were wrongfully accused of a murder, and you now have to find a way to survive under the radar until your name has been cleared.

You grew up in the city, and always wanted to get out of it. Breathe the fresh air, and get away from your over-baring parents who wanted you to go to school to become a lawyer. You had different plans. You often stole away to skirmish with squires, or exchange some labor for combat training from the house of the knights. Your parents did not approve of the violent natures of the soldier, so they never permitted you to become a squire for yourself. But now, you're an adult, and you get to make your own choices.
