"Welcome aboard," you say. "Shall we continue towards the Nebulous?"
That wasn't really a question, it was a polite order. The figure in charge is quick to understand. "A wise idea, Captain."
The other four humanoids have searched the small escape ship. They quickly retrieve all your hand-held weapons. Those are the only things they take as the pod draws close to the Nebulous.
"Ah," you say. "Yes, those were a precaution, in case of hostilities, only to be used in self-defense."
The pod seals itself to the hatch on the Nebulous. A moment later, the hatch is opened, and the leader of the humanoid figures gestures for you and your men to enter.
You activate the radio and Captain Nern's face shows up. "Our escorts have successfully guided us to the Nebulous," you inform her. "Have the remaining ships join us, except for the Jarif: leave a skeleton crew behind on it and take every available person with you. These beings are friendly."
"Aye aye, Captain," Nern responds. "That will take about 3 hours."
Your host gestures for your crew to wait. "If you're inviting the rest of your personnel, let us gather them all."
3 hours later, Captain Nern and the rest of your crew, except for Kij and the most essential members of the Jarif, have joined you. The humanoid leader gestures for you all to enter. "Welcome to the Nebulous, ladies and gentlemen. Make yourselves at home."
