You and Chad decide that since you have been walking in a straight line, maybe if you start walking the opposite way, then you can find your way back home. And so you walk the exact opposite of the direction you’ve been heading to.
Pretty soon, the skylight tells you that it is almost afternoon, and you and Chad sit on a few rocks laid out beside the dirt path. And then you hear a rustle of leaves among the bushes. Both of you get up, scared. You both freeze in place and wait for whatever is hiding to pop out.
It walks out of the bush and you see an animal walking on two legs.
“What is that?” Chad asks.
“I think it’s a sloth,” you tell him.
“I’m Sid,” says the sloth.
You and Chad both exchange looks.
