You're not exactly dressed for a run, but you've always been a decent runner and this girl must be tired. So, you accept her offer.
"I'm John, by the way," you say, extending your hand.
"Chloe," the girl replies. "Are you ready?"
"Sure."
You line up next to each other. Chloe calls out to the girl who is stretching, "Hey. Can you count us down?"
The girl stops stretching and walks over. "On your marks. Get set. Go." She says. You and Chloe take off running.
