You put on a suspicious face and rub your chin thoughtfully.
"Is it okay if I stay here until she's back?" You ask.
"Uhm well Archie uh my husband isn't home right now, he's off at work and I was about to um-" She gestures to her toweled figure.
"Get dressed." She finishes. "Maybe it would be best if you came back later." You can still hear the shower running, maybe someone else is home and by this point your curiosity wasn't letting things just end here.
"Oh, it's cool, I can just wait right here." You say firmly, pushing your way past her before immediately sitting on the couch. She lets out an almost silent sigh, seemingly giving up on getting rid of you.
"Well, I'm going to get changed." She says abruptly as she closes the front door with a little more force than necessary before moving toward another room.
"Okay."
