The smith wasn't impressed by Serenity's poverty and her attempt to swindle her way to buy the daggers. She was kicked out and the smith wanted no further business to do with the girl. Stepping back outside where the sun shines the brightest, rays of light hit Serenity's skin as the marketplace was lively with many people. She still has some gold to spend before Serenity began her rat quest.
