You grab the handle of the drawer and pull. Nothing happens. You pull again, harder this time, but it stays shut. You conclude that it must be locked.
For good measure, you decide to check the top of the desk.
You quickly scan the desk and only find one thing that may be of any use to you. A switchblade. You pick it up and slip it in your pocket. For some reason you can't really explain, you feel a lot more relaxed.
