Karma starts to run backwards "Yeah, no, that's exactly what we need! You two wait here for a moment, I'll open up the shelter." She runs off to a large store area on the end of the store below you. If you remember correctly that was a Sport Chalet.
You look over at Shadow, whose eyes are fixed on the monsters corpse. A pity comes over you as you look into her eyes. She has glowing white eyes, and the rest of her body is completely black. Something tugs at your mind. You notice that Shadow's hair isn't put in a ponytail as yours had when you showed up in this time. Just to check you feel the back of your head, with the reassuring feeling indicating that your hair is still in a ponytail. Thinking about it now, your hair is longer then you remember, darker then you remember. Maybe you're even an inch taller.
Karma returns leading about 20 people, all of them mumbling about one thing or another, eyes looking at you and Shadow and everywhere else. You might be getting a bit scared of speaking in front of everyone.
"Listen everyone!" Karma's loud voice demands attention and silences the crowd. "The efforts of Cocytus, Möwe, and I have resulted in the beginning of unbinding the curse put on mankind. To accomplish this, Jessica and Shadow will cleanse the heart of this plague."
You feel an eerie feeling in your stomach. This doesn't quite seem what you signed up for
"Jessica, do you have anything to say to the people."
Did she really have to ask? She was doing so fine with her speech alone, you think to yourself.
"Uhh, I feel a bit thrown into this. This situation, I mean...." There is a large pause. "But if there is anything I can do to help, then i suppose ill do it with my best effort."
