You fidget with your thumbs a bit and ask her if she wants to watch some cartoons. It's an old interest of yours. They may be tailored for kids but there are some gems out there.
Serah looks at you for a second and you wonder if you should've just asked her to play with you on the Xbox. You feel relieved as her expression changes from surprised to happy. Her smile makes you melt a little inside.
"I didn't think guys your age liked that stuff. Sure, I'm always up for a good show." You can't help but feel like she said that last line on purpose.
