Tahu wakes up in a canister floating on an ocean. He has a strange feeling he has been there for thousand of years. He begins getting clostrophobic and seasick and also notices that he is in EXTREME PAIN. He gets used to it 30 seconds before he washes up on an island and the canister opens and sets him free. But he wants back in. He then notices that sticking the metal pieces that were also inside the canister into the holes in his body causes the pain to stop. His brain becomes better when he puts the mask that was in the canister on his face.

While exploring the island he encounters Jaller but attacks him on reflex. When Jaller wakes up, he goes to tell the turaga about Tahu, but makes up a more dramatic story.
