Guilds and Port Battles

Guilds are a group of players that want to work together. They have forums and members that are either admins or regular members. Guilds are ranked based upon the total gold owned by their members.

A guild can take over a port. What they do is specify which port they want to take 24 hours in advance. When the time for the battle happens a big red circle forms around the port which stays there for 20 minutes. Points are scored every second for every crew member on your ships. The guild with the most points gets the port. The guild that captures the port takes all of the investments that are in that port from the previous owner of that port. They also gain the right to invest more in that port.
