Jákup Dahl (born in Viðareiði, January 15, 1951) is a Kalduroyan politician. He has been President of Kalduroyar since 1996 (at Kalduroyar, a president can be re-elected an unlimited number of times). Jákup Dahl was elected for the first time in 1996, and so again in 2000, and lastly in 2004. He will likely be re-elected again in the president election later on in 2008.

He moved from Viðareiði to Argavík in 1971, and to Vesturhavnar in 1976. He started as local politician in Vesturhavnar, and was elected mayor in 1987, short time after he became member of the Centre Party. When his term ended in 1991, he gave the politics a break for a while, and worked as shopkeeper. He ran for the president election in 1996, and since he'd got many fans from before (back to the times he was mayor), he was elected; he got 43,6% of the votes (in Kalduroyar, you can be elected presiden with a majority vote, but you don't have to get over 50%).
