Early life

Prior to her acting career, Han majored in business administration at Seoul National University, to which she graduated in 2013.

Career

2010-current

Han was first scouted through the talent age ncy M-Line Actors in 2010 and appeared in the critically acclaimed Life is Peachy. However, due to her contract being stated as a part time artist, she rejected a string of casting offers as she was not satisfied with the management and a year later the relationship was terminated. Recommended by her previous manager, Han auditioned for another entertainment agency Clumsy Media and began training in the areas of acting and commercial modelling in the same year.

On October 14, 2011 Han was cast in the romantic comedy All About My Wife. Filming began on November 27 in Gocheok-dong, South Korea and finished on February 13, 2012. Released three months later, the film was a critical and commercial success, further rising the anticipation of Han's official debut. Reportedly she then concentrated on her studies in order to satisfy the graduate requirements. Her official debut project was announced on June 10, 2013 through the action thriller film Monster.

On February 15, 2015 Han was cast alongside Bae Doo-na in the film The Romantic and began filming in May.
