Kirei

Kirei (real name Nakamura Takuma) is a member of the idol group Sucette♦. She has participated in all the group's works and worked behind the scenes heavily for the lyrics production. Due to the announced indefinite hiatus by the group in later 2011, she debuted as a solo artist under the new stage name Kirei directly translating into killer. Nakamura has long been known as a talented emotional lyrics writer especially for songs with a violent background story involved hence her stage name. Throughout her life she has been heavily involved with murder scenes as both of her parents worked as part of the investigation teams. Since her early age she has been influenced deeply by these cases and recorded down the experiences through lyrics in songs.
Takuma's debut single White Nails was received positively by the critics and general public. Despite the success she refused all other work opportunities or chances to perform the track live. It was reported she went straight into producing her own solo album soon after and in May the following year her company confirmed the news. The album The Suicide Shop was released December 10, 2012 debuting at #2 across all music charts with the sales of 150,000 units in the first week.
