City of Light is the seventh overall single from JayMi after her last #1 single Be My Thunder. It is a Christmas themed song that was originally released last year in JayMi's winter album Sleigh Bells but revived to release independantly for celebration. It came with two brand new songs that fitted the overall theme and composed by JayMi herself. The first song is a different version of the original which was almost included in the previous winter album.

The single managed to sell more than 250,000 copies on its first day and debuted at the Oricorn Daily Chart at #3. By the end of its first week of release, it has sold more than 300,000 copies and reached the top ten spot on the Oricorn weekly singles chart. Unfortunately the popularity wasn't secured as it is not a new song and failed to achieve the top ten spot later at the Oricorn Monthly Singles Chart.
