Album Information

Soon after the release of Ophelia's debut Korean single Heartstrings it climbed quickly onto top of the charts and critics warmly supported her work. Giving an average 87% of approval, in terms of her vocal abilities and style. Rumors were quick to say she has a mini album as a planned follow up debut work sometime this year. In February 2012, a week after the release, in a 10Asia exclusive first interview she personally announced the album has been titled as Map My Mind but no other details were released.

The album is reported to be recorded during the same time of her debut Japanese mini album in studios in both Japan and Korea. Originally all of the five tracks were composed and produced by Ophelia but some were later pulled out for no known reason.

Popular South Korean ballad trio 8Eight had actually worked on a song especially for Ophelia and was later put into the album. Indie artists VRose, Triple Effect and Mate are also featured as guest artists. All of whom were confirmed to be volunteered to participate to be part of the album. The recoridng process took three weeks but the musical making took as long as six months.

On March 21, 2012, officials confirmed the news and said the album will be released sometime in April, however there will be no active promotions as Ophelia will be away overseas for her filming activities. There is to be no title single and every single track is to be viewed on the same level. In early April due to personal reasons, Ophelia paused all of her music releases. There were no set release date during the time. Almost three months later in June her officials confirmed the final tracklist after several known changes and there will be two versions available.
