The posterboy of angst, Kamui's life has pretty much always sucked. He was born with the fate of the world on his shoulders, which resulted in his mother spontaneously combusting, and his friends' mother and his aunt both exploding into bloody bits to "birth" superspeshul magical swords. After a lot of time acting like a weenie, Kamui made his decision to become a Dragon of Heaven and fight to protect humanity. Unfortunately, this meant his best friend Fuuma was shoved into the role of a Dragon of Earth in opposition. This lead to many instances of Kamui getting pinned to walls or impaled with sharp pointy objects and bleeding everywhere.
And things only got worse from there. Huzzah!
In Purgatory
But thankfully, since arriving in Purgatory, Kamui figured out his True Wish (with some subtle hints from Fuuma), and now that whole Final Battle To Determine The End Of The World thing is kinda moot. But at least he got a shiny new kekkai and his best friend back to normal out of it.
Kamui now spends his time angsting with his friends, angsting at school, and trying to get Fuuma and Subaru to go back to being friendlier, dammit! >:( He also lives in an apartment with his old friend (and childhood sweetheart), Kotori. Who happens to also be Fuuma's sister. ...Have I mentioned yet how much his life sucks?
