Matt Murdock

Matt Murdock is a character from the Daredevil comic books. He is well-known for his vigilante behavior, given how he prefers to give justice first and ask questions later. This behavior has landed him in several spots of trouble, leading him to rather uneasy results (including, most recently, prison).
The most notable thing about Matt is that he is, in fact, blind. His senses are enhanced. He has a slight sense of humor, but for the most part, he’s very serious. His life is his mission, but unlike Batman, he doesn’t live two separate lives. As a lawyer, he tends to also bring his sense of justice into this identity.

Information
Background
Matt Murdock was an Irish-American who was raised by his father, Jack Murdock, in the Hell’s Kitchen section of New York. His father was a well-known boxer who expected a great deal of work out of his son (and his son ended up working out privately as a result). It was when he was trying to save a blind man from an accident that Matt ended up getting blinded by radioactive material. This radioactive material ended up giving Matt the enhanced senses.
A man named Stick ended up helping Matt with his newfound abilities, and on the other side of his life, he went to college and ended up at the Colombia University School of Law. There he met two very important people in his life: Franklin Nelson and Elektra Natchios. When Matt is twenty, they are both captured by terrorists, an event that inevitably leads to Elektra seeing her father killed. She ended up leaving Matt and Colombia behind to become a martial artist.
At the same time, Matt’s father ends up getting involved with a bad boxing manager. This incident leads to his father’s death and Matt ends up avenging his death. This led to the beginning of Daredevil.
A number of things have occurred with Matt, but the most important thing was Elektra’s death. It ruined him, to say the least. Everything that followed was a result of this.
In Purgatory
Matt has done very little in Purgatory aside from offer legal advice to Phoenix Wright.
