Karolina Dean comes from the Marvel Runaways comics. She is one of the six original members of the team and therefore, one of the children of the Pride, an evil crime syndicate in Los Angeles. Of the team, she is the lesbian alien (yes, that poor girl) who is betrothed to a skrull named Xavin (even if she doesn’t really like him much). She comes in from the most recent issue of Runaways.

Information
Background
Karolina Dean, though born on Earth, is the child of aliens Frank and Leslie Dean. Though they are aliens, they managed to have a very successful acting career on Earth—but that’s not the main part of it. The other part is that they were forced to become part of a six pair crime syndicate by the name of The Pride. The Pride was a group that made annual sacrifices toward a group of unusual deities to secure the end of a violent civilization and the birth of a new one.
However, about fifteen or so years later, Karolina and the other children of this Pride witnessed their parents killing someone for this and they ran away—thus becoming the Runaways. In the process, it came out that Karolina was an alien, one gifted with strength and a number of other powers. In the end, however, one of the Runaways, Alex, gave them away, though he was willing to save Nico. But their parents ended up dead, and then the Runaways were down to five.
They gained a sixth not long after in the form of cyborg Victor Mancha. Though apparently destined to kill all the superheroes off in the world, he managed to override his programming and joined the five—which was made up of Nico, Chase, Gert, Molly, and her. And it wasn’t long after that that Karolina came out about her sexuality to Nico—right after she tried to kiss her. It seemed almost unusual that the skrull Xavin appeared at this point in time to announce their engagement.
Though it wasn’t a good idea, Karolina decided to leave with him (who could be a her) and they were gone for some time. She eventually came back right around the time that the “new” Pride was formed after the skrull and the magesdian worlds were seemingly destroyed. She appears to be close to Xavin, but not entirely, as she cares more about her friends.

She has entered the game and currently lives with the Runaways!
