Uchiha Sasuke is a character in Kishimoto's anime/manga series Naruto. After the murder of clan at the hands of his brother, Sasuke became a genius rookie ninja. He worked alongside Haruno Sakura and Uzumaki Naruto and formed close bonds with them. Unfortunately, his brother's reappearance and Naruto's success made Sasuke wonder if staying in their peaceful village would really help him avenge his family. Seeking the power to defeat Itachi, Sasuke abandoned his team and joined the series's antagonist, Orochimaru.

Sasuke has been quietly around for some time, but has become somewhat more active with the influx of Naruto characters appearing on the island. Because Itachi also exsists here, Sasuke once again has a purpose. He wants to see Naruto and Sakura.
