[13:37] >Ambiance<: The starlit sky is bright for mid novemeber and the temeperature is brisk. The group having so freshly witnessed the actions of Galrick is not given a moment to rest... For time is fleeting.... There is an arcing sound and several new faces appear as from nowhere. Unfortunately the group is rather immediately distracted by a new crisis in the form of Hadin
[13:38] * Hadin clutches at his and collapses in a heap on the ground his breath drawn and haggard....
[13:38] * Hadin loses all conciousness
[13:38] *** ZLOK has joined #epic.
[13:39] * Elaith rushes over to see if he hurt himself in the fall *
[13:40] * Hadin lays on the ground his breath rapid and shallow
[13:40] * Hadin has suffered no obvious physical injury.
[13:41] Elaith: I have no idea what could be causing it. I'm no medic.
[13:41] * SplinterClaw steps forward towards the group
[13:41] * KingK goes upto hadin,"whats wrong can you speak?"
[13:42] * Hadin is clearly unconcious
[13:42] * Elaith checks his pulse *\\
[13:42] Wes: "leave Hadin we cannot help him.."
[13:42] * Lkeas looks around at all the newcomers briefly before going over to Hadin and Elaith
[13:42] * Azerkail merely watches from afar.
[13:42] ZLOK: We would be brutes not to try. Although I fear that too many chefs....
[13:42] KingK: and none of you will help?!
[13:42] * Elaith glances up, his brow furrowed in worry *
[13:42] * Zeltan approaches the group
[13:42] * Leo looks around the area.
[13:43] * KingK begins to check his pulse
[13:43] * Lkeas stands
[13:43] * Hadin's pulse is weak and thready
[13:43] * Azerkail walks over and scans Hadin's body.
[13:43] KingK: its not looking too good im no medic but his pulse is really slowing down
[13:43] ZLOK: I tend to cause injuries, not mend them.
[13:43] Azerkail: Check his pupils for dilation?
[13:43] Lkeas: we have little time.  Falerin and Caliban are likely suffering something similar...
[13:44] Elaith: Well, he probably can't be moved. Even I know that's generally a bad idea.
[13:44] * Leo nods at Lkeas.
[13:44] SplinterClaw: "we should builld a shelter around him then"
[13:44] Zeltan: We have no time for building
[13:44] Leo: We cannot hesitate, we need to do what we came to do.
[13:44] Wes: "leave him! we must go!"
[13:44] * Lkeas nods
[13:44] Azerkail: Can we leave him?
[13:44] Lkeas: Wes is right... we made our choice to go after Galrick..
[13:44] Wes: "i must try something also..."
[13:44] Zeltan: Then what are we waiting for ?
[13:45] * Elaith gives him a last look then stands up* "Ok, let's hurry then."
[13:45] * Lkeas looks around worriedly
[13:45] * SplinterClaw frowns
[13:45] Lkeas: i do not want to just leave Hadin here, though... the elements might surely kill him
[13:45] * Azerkail nods and lets out an exasperated sigh.
[13:45] Zeltan: But..what can we do ?
[13:45] Leo: Well, we could carry him.
[13:45] * KingK picks up hadin and hoists him over his shoulder
[13:45] Lkeas: i don't think he's broken anything in his fall, we should be able to move him
[13:45] KingK: ill carry him
[13:46] * Wes closes his eyes and focuses on the shadowworld "please let this work."
[13:46] SplinterClaw: "good"
[13:46] Zeltan: Be careful KingK
[13:46] ZLOK: I suggest something rather stiffer to carry him on.
[13:46] ZLOK: I've seen similar devices used for the injured in times of war.
[13:46] Azerkail: Can we make a brace or strecher?
[13:46] Elaith: You better walk smoothly. His pulse isn't to hot.
[13:46] ZLOK: I do not recall their name though.
[13:46] KingK: i know i checked it
[13:46] * SplinterClaw starts looking for tree branches
[13:46] Lkeas: we're in central park... there must be a bench somewhere
[13:46] ZLOK: I try not to socialize, it makes such a bad habit.
[13:47] ZLOK: There's lots.
[13:47] * Zeltan goes to find a bench
[13:47] KingK: but lkeas we need to get him some where
[13:47] * Azerkail starts looking for anything that could be used to strap Hadin to the bench.
[13:47] Elaith: He could get arrested for that...
[13:47] * SplinterClaw finshes a simple sled to carry hadin on
[13:48] Azerkail: That works too.
[13:48] Elaith: Lkeas, you have a credit card, right? Let's check him into a hotel somewhere.
[13:48] * Lkeas nods and starts scanning buildings for signs of a hotel or hospital
[13:48] * KingK sighs in worry,"ok lets just put him over there in that clinic""
[13:48] Azerkail: I don't suppose anyone has a cell phone.
[13:48] SplinterClaw: "King, place him on the sled, it will make it easier to carry him"
[13:48] * KingK points a block down
[13:49] Elaith: Well, then lets use the stretcher to get him that far, check him in, then hurry on our way.
[13:50] *** Maxx has joined #epic.
[13:50] Leo: We should leave Hadin here, we need to go after Galrick.
[13:50] SplinterClaw: "no, it would not be right"
[13:50] Azerkail: We'd be inhuman to leave someone to die in Central Park.
[13:51] ZLOK: One of they who knows our heading could take him, along with what is necessary to successfully move him.
[13:51] Elaith: How about some of us go after Galrick while others take him to the clinic?
[13:51] ZLOK: In such manner that the guide, so to speak, could bring the remainder to the rest of us.
[13:51] * KingK puts him on the strecher
[13:51] *** Mode change "+vv Maxx ZLOK" for channel #epic by Falerin.
[13:51] ZLOK: In the case of a chase, we have already lingered long enough to give our target a distinctive advantage.
[13:52] KingK: help me carry him
[13:52] Zeltan: We'll move Hadin first
[13:52] * Maxx appears wearing his jeans, tee-shirt, and black duster.
[13:52] SplinterClaw: "Ok"
[13:52] Maxx: What's going on here?
[13:52] * Azerkail goes to assist KingK.
[13:52] >Ambiance<: There is no longer any sign of Cartwright or Galrick
[13:52] * Leo frowns.
[13:52] SplinterClaw: "what is it?"
[13:52] >Ambiance<: Wes vanishes
[13:52] Azerkail: Grab his upper half, I'll get his legs.
[13:53] * Wes is abruptly spit out of a shadow under a nearby tree
[13:53] * KingK moves quickly and takes hadin to the clinic,then puts him down inside with out explaining
[13:53] * Maxx looks at the struggling figures: "What's wrong with him?"
[13:53] KingK: we dont know hes sick or something
[13:53] Zeltan: One thing's for sure
[13:54] ZLOK: I would assume he is wounded. Internally, or otherwise.
[13:54] * Elaith looks to see if there are any nice Galrick-sized footprints at all *
[13:54] * Wes walks to the others alittle dizzy "Well my ShadowTravelling works but its harder to control in this world..."
[13:54] * Maxx looks around at the gathered people.
[13:54] Zeltan: Internal injuries is plausable
[13:54] Maxx: Where are we?
[13:55] Azerkail: Right, he wasn't bleeding, there was no signs of physical injury on his outside.
[13:55] * Lkeas holds her hands up for silence from the group
[13:55] Lkeas: please! newcomers! let me explain...
[13:55] Ryuusei: Chaos.
[13:55] Ryuusei: You are in chaos.
[13:55] Ryuusei: To that Chaos I can Bring Order....
[13:55] KingK: cartwright......
[13:55] * Lkeas stops suddenly, the blood draining from her face
[13:56] * Maxx whispers: "Ah a familiar face. . . um Lkeas, if I remember correctly."
[13:56] Falerin: ((The voice is only heard by Lkeas and Leo))
[13:56] Elaith: Lkeas, are you ok?
[13:56] Falerin: ((Noone else hears this Ryuusei and he is not seen at all))
[13:56] * Elaith stops trying to see tracks somewhere *
[13:56] * Leo frowns.
[13:56] Zeltan: You don't look so good
[13:56] Lkeas: i...
[13:56] Ryuusei: You will be coming soon enough then won't you prophetess
[13:57] Ryuusei: You an your lap dog
[13:57] Ryuusei: We have so much to share with you.....

[13:58] * Elaith walks up to Lkeas with her apparently not even noticing *
[13:58] * Maxx mumbles to himself: "At least the trees here are nicer than those in Immertot."
[13:58] * Lkeas shakes her head
[13:58] Falerin: ((Anyone who was NOT there last session does not... at all))
[13:58] * KingK sticks his finger in his ear
[13:58] * Leo stumbles backwards.
[13:58] KingK: ah,thats weird
[13:58] ZLOK: Get a move on.
[13:58] * Azerkail finds a bench to sit and wait.
[13:58] * Lkeas takes a deep breath to compose herself
[13:58] ZLOK: Does anyone know the nearest route to an infirmary?
[13:58] Maxx: Scary place that, Immertot.
[13:58] Zeltan: What is going on Lkeas ?
[13:58] * Elaith repeats himself * "Lkeas, what is it?"
[13:58] * KingK stands still
[13:58] Lkeas: alright, we need to focus. we can't run around like chickens with our heads cut off
[13:58] Lkeas: we have a task at hand
[13:58] KingK: wait are those.....
[13:58] KingK: words?
[13:59] * SplinterClaw crosses arms patiently
[13:59] Lkeas: let's work together and get Hadin to shelter, then we must move on. time is of the essence
[13:59] * KingK darts his eyes toward lkeas,""do you hear something?"
[13:59] * Lkeas glances at KingK but says nothing
[13:59] * KingK whispers*
[13:59] KingK: .....hm....nevermind then
[13:59] * Maxx moves over to those helping lift Hadin.
[13:59] * Leo stares at KingK.
[13:59] Maxx: How can I help?
[14:00] * Azerkail moves to help carry Hadin.
[14:00] * Lkeas turns towards the buildings at the edge of the park and looks for a sign of a clinic or hotel... something...
[14:00] * Elaith catches KingK say that, and the look that follows, but decides he will get nothing out of pursuing it except a stressed Lkeas *
[14:00] * KingK glances back but only glances for a second
[14:00] Azerkail: Can you see a hospital, Lkeas?
[14:00] KingK: lets fond something......
[14:00] Lkeas: i'm looking... although i don't know if the doctors would be able to help at this point...
[14:01] Lkeas: Hadin's condition is something not quite normal
[14:01] * KingK sighs, "wheres fal when you need him"
[14:01] Azerkail: It's better than a group of people untrained in the medical field.
[14:01] * Azerkail looks to Maxx.
[14:01] * Maxx looks around through the trees and foliage.
[14:01] * Wes stumbles over to lkeas "he was dead once coming back to this time will kill him we cannot help him."
[14:01] ZLOK: If this was caused by a single wound, the inflictor must've been skilled. And as thus, death is likely inevitable.
[14:01] Elaith: Mt Sinai is nearby. How about we take him there?
[14:02] *** Zeltan has signed off IRC (Ping timeout).
[14:02] Maxx: Well, let's carry him with us until we come across something.
[14:02] Wes: "drop him hes just un needed weight.."
[14:02] Azerkail: It's far from here.
[14:02] ZLOK: Yeah, and I beleive you just voulenteered.
[14:02] SplinterClaw: "no"
[14:02] Leo: We cannot save Hadin.
[14:02] Azerkail: So we leave him to die in Central Park?
[14:02] ZLOK: Whatever we do now will not be in pursuit of the assailant.
[14:02] SplinterClaw: "Fine, then you (leo) and Wes should carry him"
[14:02] Wes: "he is dead.."
[14:03] Elaith: Well, my place is even farther, so I vote the hospital.
[14:03] * Lkeas turns on Wes
[14:03] Lkeas: he is NOT dead yet
[14:03] Wes: "he was dead he will be dead again.."
[14:03] Leo: I will not carry him.
[14:03] ZLOK: And if you know the heading, lead the way.
[14:03] Wes: "and i gotta get my sences back.."
[14:03] Wes: "so i cant carry him.."
[14:03] Azerkail: Elaith said we should split up.
[14:04] Wes: "foolish that would be.."
[14:04] Azerkail: One team helps Hadin, one team goes after the assailant.
[14:04] Wes: "we came here for one reason.."
[14:04] Wes: "we shall finish that reason.."
[14:04] SplinterClaw: "and we have been presented with another, we should help him"
[14:04] Leo: We must go after Galrick.
[14:04] Elaith: I am of more use in helping Hadin than pursuing Galrick.
[14:05] Elaith: I can take him to the hospital while the rest of you pursue if you'd like.
[14:05] Azerkail: I'll help you Elaith.
[14:05] Wes: "if we split up we all will be easier to kill we cannot split up."
[14:05] * Lkeas nods
[14:05] Elaith: Thanks Azerkail.
[14:05] Lkeas: strength in numbers
[14:05] Lkeas: let's get moving
[14:06] Elaith: There is also strength in evasion...
[14:06] * SplinterClaw nods
[14:06] ZLOK: Yeah, and there's strength in faith.
[14:06] ZLOK: I believe you will do fine Elaith.
[14:06] Azerkail: Again, so we just leave someone to die in Central Park?
[14:06] Lkeas: the sooner we start walking, the sooner we'll get to the hospital
[14:06] Maxx: I vote we stick together.
[14:06] Wes: "we are no match for Galrick and Cartwright if we split up then again if we dont we still arent a match.."
[14:06] ZLOK: And as much as my voice may be worth to you. I would agree are you to chose to carry this man. However I must urge you to act not, and decide what is to be decided,.
[14:06] SplinterClaw: "that's it, let's vote on it, all those who are willing to split up say aye"
[14:06] Elaith: Azerkail, I will support his torso and head. You get his legs, and we will put him on the stretcher.
[14:07] Leo: Fine... lets take Hadin to the hospital.
[14:07] * Azerkail moves to carry Hadin's legs.
[14:07] Azerkail: Got him.
[14:07] Wes: "my powers are limited in this world they are out of my control..."
[14:08] Elaith: OK. We should get going.
[14:08] * Maxx moves to help support the middle of the body.
[14:08] Azerkail: Thanks.
[14:08] Azerkail: I thought I would drop him.
[14:08] * Elaith begins walking with Hadin now in the stretcher towards the hospital, Maxx joining right after *
[14:08] * Azerkail follows behind holding Hadin's legs.
[14:08] * Leo looks at Wes "You can actually use powers here?"
[14:08] >Ambiance<: a thin trickle of scarlet bubbles from the corner of Hadin's slighly parted lips
[14:09] * Wes stops
[14:09] Wes: "yes..."
[14:09] Azerkail: Whoa, is that blood?
[14:09] ZLOK: Whatever it is, MOVE!
[14:09] Maxx: That might not be good.
[14:09] Leo: Interesting...
[14:09] ZLOK: It means your time is up, or will be up in matter of seconds.
[14:09] Maxx: But, let's go.
[14:09] * Azerkail keeps moving.
[14:09] Elaith: Could someone dab the blood away while we move?
[14:10] * Lkeas adds her arms to help support Hadin and help the three move a little faster
[14:10] Maxx: Don't worry about it just move.
[14:11] * ZLOK follows behind the others, in a relaxed manner.
[14:11] Maxx: Where is this hospital?
[14:11] Maxx: Are we going in the right direction?
[14:12] SplinterClaw: "does anyone have a map, or know the city?"
[14:12] * Maxx points to Elaith: "He said he knew the direction to Mt. something-or-other."
[14:12] * Wes walks to the others "here let me carry him.."
[14:13] Elaith: 68 E 97th is the one I assume we are going to?
[14:13] Azerkail: Mr. Sinai Medical Center?
[14:13] ZLOK: Whatever, just move.
[14:13] Wes: "ill carry Hadin."
[14:13] Azerkail: We've got him Wes... but...
[14:14] ZLOK: We've got carrying hadin covered.
[14:14] Lkeas: actually... i think it might be closer than 97th
[14:14] * Azerkail shifts so Wes can help carry him.
[14:14] ZLOK: Now we need to get "going there" covered.
[14:14] Wes: "you should clear the sidewalk and let me carry him alone okay?"
[14:15] * Maxx is thankful for the lighter load many hands bring.
[14:15] SplinterClaw: "weren't you in favor of leaving him behind?"
[14:15] Wes: "ive had to run with bricks on my back before this should be easy."
[14:15] ZLOK: Does it matter?
[14:15] Azerkail: MT. Sinai is on 1 Gustave L Perry way.
[14:15] * Lkeas turns to Azerkail
[14:15] ZLOK: Takes two to carry a stretcher.
[14:15] Azerkail: If we keep on 5th street, we'll find our way there.
[14:16] Wes: "i dont need a stretcher."
[14:16] Lkeas: are we moving in the right direction? let's go
[14:16] * Wes grabs hadin and focuses on the shadowworld.
[14:16] >Ambiance<: Wes and Hadin vanish abruptly
[14:17] Azerkail: Whoa.
[14:17] Maxx: Whoa, that is a lighter load.
[14:17] Leo: Very interesting.
[14:17] SplinterClaw: "how?"
[14:17] * Elaith returns to his casually following the rest of the group *
[14:17] * Lkeas drops her arms as she notices she's not holding anything anymore
[14:17] Lkeas: let's hope he knows where he's going...
[14:18] Maxx: Um, where did that other guy go?
[14:18] * Azerkail has another lost look again.
[14:18] Lkeas: now... we have to figure out where Galrick and Cartwright went
[14:18] * Wes emerges from a series of shadows at the far side of the clearing
[14:18] Azerkail: The guy who wanted to carry him? He appears gone too.
[14:18] >Ambiance<: The exit from the shadows in this case is much less abrupt then his previously aborted attempt
[14:19] * Maxx looks around at the new scenery.
[14:19] * Lkeas looks towards Wes
[14:19] Lkeas: were you able to get him to a doctor?
[14:19] *** Yin-Yang has joined #epic.
[14:19] * Maxx notices Wes and jumps back: "What the hell?"
[14:19] * Wes waves "yes."
[14:19] Azerkail: Thank God.
[14:20] Azerkail: I don't want to even know how you did it, though.
[14:20] Maxx: What did you do with the body?
[14:20] ZLOK: I did not know our laws of reality supported such a feat.
[14:20] Azerkail: What did he do with Hadin, you mean. He's not dead yet.
[14:20] Wes: "brought it to a hospital"
[14:21] SplinterClaw: "it?"
[14:21] Maxx: Okay. . .
[14:21] * Lkeas turns to ZLOK
[14:21] Lkeas: the walls between realms are thinning...
[14:21] Lkeas: who knows what people will be capable of here
[14:21] Lkeas: we must be careful.
[14:21] * Azerkail looks away from the group thoughtfully.
[14:21] Lkeas: the man who has taken Galrick and transformed him, he is most formidable indeed
[14:21] Leo: It is very disturbing.
[14:21] Wes: "i have some...powers here ShadowTravelling it is called where im from.."
[14:22] >Ambiance<: reality ripples as you round the next bend and a figure appears as if from nowhere
[14:22] * Azerkail blinks.
[14:22] *** Mode change "+v Yin-Yang" for channel #epic by Falerin.
[14:22] * Yin-Yang walks up.
[14:22] * Lkeas glances at the newcomer, only slightly phased as if it were a regular occurence
[14:22] Maxx: Do people always appear and disappear like that?
[14:22] * Azerkail starts, but calms himself.
[14:22] Yin-Yang: "Hello everyone."
[14:22] * Lkeas sticks out a hand
[14:22] Lkeas: greetings, new seeker, i am Lkeas
[14:22] Leo: Greetings.
[14:22] Wes: "i can go to the Shadowrealm or ShadowWorld in this case and come out at a different point via a persons shadow."
[14:23] Azerkail: When we're around Lkeas, anything is a possibility.
[14:23] * Maxx chuckles to himself: "I guess I 'appeared' the same way."
[14:23] Yin-Yang: "My name is Ying Yang, but my friends call me Yang."
[14:23] Leo: You may call me Leo.
[14:23] * Azerkail offers a hand to Yang.
[14:23] Maxx: Hello. Name's Maxx.
[14:23] SplinterClaw: Splinter
[14:23] Azerkail: I'm Azerkail.
[14:24] * Yin-Yang shakes Azerkails hand, "Pleasure to meet you."
[14:24] Yin-Yang: "But, where are we?"
[14:24] Wes: "i'm Eric, and I'm Wes."
[14:24] Lkeas: we are currently in New York trying to trace two men by the names of Galrick and Cartwright
[14:24] Yin-Yang: "Which one is it, Eric or Wes?"
[14:24] Wes: "i have two names."
[14:24] Azerkail: The feelings mutual.
[14:24] Yin-Yang: "What year is it?"
[14:24] Maxx: Ah, New York. . . never been there.
[14:25] Azerkail: Never been here, heh.
[14:25] Maxx: heh, too true
[14:25] * Lkeas stops and looks around
[14:25] Yin-Yang: "Again I ask, what year is it?"
[14:25] Lkeas: i actually have no idea where we should be looking...
[14:25] Lkeas: we lost track of them in all the commotion
[14:25] SplinterClaw: "Does time matter anymore?"
[14:25] Maxx: I only just found out where we are, Yang.
[14:26] * Maxx looks off into the distance around the city-scape around them.
[14:26] Yin-Yang: "The last time I checked the date was October 22, 1203."
[14:26] Wes: "lets go to the Washington Square in Greenwich Village. i saw some shadows there couldnt check them out though.."
[14:26] Azerkail: It's definitely not 1203, if that's what you're asking, Yang.
[14:26] Yin-Yang: "Well that would be the earth calendar, where I am from we do not use days, months, or years."
[14:27] SplinterClaw: "Well, if it were that time, there wouldn't ba new york here"
[14:27] * Lkeas shakes her head
[14:27] Lkeas: all dates aside, the point is we have little time to save Galrick
[14:27] Lkeas: no matter what day it is
[14:27] SplinterClaw: "true"
[14:27] * Azerkail nods
[14:27] Yin-Yang: "So who is this Galrick character you all speak of?"
[14:27] Lkeas: now, can anybody remember which way they went?
[14:27] Wes: "as i said lets go to the Washington Square in Greenwich Village. i saw some shadows there couldnt check them out though.."
[14:28] * Leo frowns. "I cannot, Prophet."
[14:28] Yin-Yang: "You will have to lead the way, I am not familiar with your realm...well not entirely.
[14:28] Yin-Yang: +"
[14:28] Azerkail: Greenwich Village, Wes?
[14:28] Lkeas: shadows, Wes? how far is that from here?
[14:28] ZLOK: And I know nothing more than what I knew, and that unfortunately does not include our location, or anything of the like.
[14:28] * ZLOK faces Lkeas.
[14:28] ZLOK: You are a prophet?
[14:29] Lkeas: it is a title i was given.
[14:29] Azerkail: It's in Manhattan.
[14:29] Yin-Yang: "My title was Lordship of my realm, although it does no good here."
[14:29] ZLOK: Where I'm from it usually means the person will suffer an untimely demise.
[14:29] SplinterClaw: "meh, I have no title"
[14:30] ZLOK: I am among lords and prophets?
[14:30] * Maxx looks off into the distance muttering: "I have a feeling I'm supposed to be looking for someone."
[14:30] Yin-Yang: "Indeed, but I must get back. My wife is pregnant and will be having our child any moment."
[14:30] * Yin-Yang turns and begins to walk off, "So if you'll excuse me, I think we should get moving!"
[14:31] SplinterClaw: "There are some things that this world won't premit, and as far as I can tell, leaving is one of them"
[14:31] * Lkeas frowns and looks to the group
[14:31] Yin-Yang: "I will try my hardest, that is something I do not do is give up. I will fight anyone and everyone if it means I have a chance to get back to where I am from."
[14:31] Lkeas: well, if Wes is the only one with a lead, perhaps we should go to this Greenwich Village
[14:31] Azerkail: We must head south to get there.
[14:32] Yin-Yang: "That is the way of our people, we fight no matter what the cost."
[14:32] Wes: "its East south east from here."
[14:32] Maxx: Lead the way then.
[14:32] Yin-Yang: "Indeed, lead the way Wes."
[14:32] Azerkail: Right behind you.
[14:32] SplinterClaw: "aye
[14:32] Leo: "If we're discussing titles.. I've been given two of those, one of those is illusionist. As for the other" frowns "I dare not utter it."
[14:33] Yin-Yang: "You can tell me Leo, I do not know fear so if that is what you are worried about worry not my child."
[14:33] * Lkeas walks behind Wes motioning to the others to follow
[14:34] * Wes walks in the direction he saw the shadows
[14:34] * Leo follows Lkeas.
[14:34] * ZLOK follows the prophet.
