[15:57] <>Ambiance<> a loud explosion tears the sky and Wes vanishes dramatically
[15:58] <>Ambiance<> You feel paralyzed as people run arround you and the sun moves visibly in the sky
[15:58] <>Ambiance<> Wes has clearly locked the lot of you in some sort of temporal stasis
[15:58] * Zeltan has joined #epic
[16:02] <>Ambiance<> Time returns to normal though an unknown period has passed.
[16:02] <Falerin> <RESUME EPIC>
[16:03] * LordBarrius gazes about. "At least that scoundrel's gone."
[16:03] * Gamer nods his head.
[16:03] * Hadin shakes his head violently, shrugging off the aftereffects of the temporal stasis. "What in the HELL was that bloke up to?"
[16:03] * Avarie relaxes the tight hold she had on Hadin, wiping at her eyes to clear them of tears that had been forming, trying to take in what had just occurred.
[16:03] * Nicholas shakes his head.
[16:03] <Hadin> "And what the HELL is that chatter in my head?!"
[16:04] * LordBarrius turns to Hadin. "Again?"
[16:04] * Gamer looks around, taking in the new surrondings, "So are we in Centrel Park? Or..."
[16:04] <Nicholas> I believe they have a message for you, Hadin.
[16:04] * Avarie looks at Hadin hopefully. "More from your Artifice?"
[16:04] <Nicholas> David Varia has arranged the portal for us...
[16:05] <Nicholas> Central park at Midnight.
[16:05] * Hadin blinks and looks at Nicholas with a raised eyebrow. "Eh? Well, however you might know, I think you might be right...though right now its a chatter faster than a spring-wound clock overwound."
[16:05] <Hadin> "Well, Artifice, we already are just about in Central Park...so what?"
[16:05] * Blueman looks around wildly for a second, before settling down a little. He overhears the others conversations, "David Varia, Central Park, Midnight..."
[16:06] <Blueman> Got it...
[16:06] * Avarie looks at her wrist out of habit, forgetting that she didn't have a watch and even if she did, knowing deep inside it probably would not be functioning properly. "How much time then?"
[16:06] * Gamer looks around for any sign of the time.
[16:06] <Hadin> "Sword of Damacles, what in the...?"
[16:06] <>Ambiance<> Dong Dong Dong Dong Dong Dong
[16:06] <>Ambiance<> Dong Dong Dong Dong Dong Dong
[16:06] * Gamer grins, "I think its midnight."
[16:06] <Blueman> Midnight...
[16:07] * Avarie curses aloud when she finishes counting the tolls of the bell. "No time."
[16:07] * Nicholas looks around the area, "Where is it?"
[16:07] <Hadin> "Same spot we came from, hurry!"
[16:08] <Nicholas> Erm, someone lead the way.
[16:08] * Avarie looks around desperately for anything, then Hadin's words register and, nodding, she begins trotting switftly in that direction. "This way!"
[16:08] * maieo grabs Nicholas' hand *
[16:08] * Gamer follows Avarie.
[16:08] * LordBarrius nods quickly and follows after Avarie.
[16:08] * Hadin hobbles off to follow Avarie.
[16:08] * Blueman looks around for a moment to get his bearings before rushing after the group...
[16:08] <>Ambiance<> As you approach you find yourself near the spot where you arrived a large oaken door appears floating about 2 feet above ground
[16:08] * Nicholas darts after Avarie, dragging Maieo along with him.
[16:08] * David steps out of the door
[16:09] <David> "Quickly Quickly"
[16:09] * Hadin blinks for a moment, pausing in his hobbling. "Well hell, not every day you see that."
[16:09] * Gamer looks at David, "Lead the way."
[16:09] * Blueman watches the figure step out of the door. "David..."
[16:09] * Nicholas runs towards David.
[16:09] * Avarie sighs with so much relief it is almost a cry. "Oh thank the powers that be. A friendly face."
[16:09] * David reenters the door
[16:10] * Hadin hobbles over to David, nodding at something unseen. "David, lad! Good to see you again, I am thinking...is there anything you might wish to say?"
[16:10] * LordBarrius chuckles. "Don't need to tell me twice."  He dashes towards the door.
[16:10] * Avarie follows after David quickly, forgetting her fear of portals and wishing nothing more than to escape this world.
[16:10] * Gamer jumps in after LordBarrius.
[16:10] * Nicholas jumps in after the group.
[16:10] * maieo follows
[16:10] <David> I have much to say but for the sake of my analog and the prophet move
[16:10] * Blueman rushes again after the group
[16:11] <David> Ryuusei Cartwright has come to my world
[16:11] * Hadin follows in last, giving David a peculiar glance.
[16:11] <>Ambiance<> The door swings shut and you find your self standing inside David's Apartment near the Bowery
[16:12] <>Ambiance<> much of the equipment from the lab has been moved into his cramped living room
[16:12] * Avarie shudders at David's words, her own almost a plea. "Oh please no."
[16:12] * Nicholas turns to David, "What's the plan?"
[16:12] * Hadin grumbles mightily.
[16:13] <David> "Welcome back. I have no idea how long it has been for you. But for me it has been nearly a year since I threw that fireball at you.
[16:13] <David> there is something you must see...
[16:13] <Hadin> "This is getting quite weary on these old bones, you know...a year you say?  Interesting..."
[16:13] * David opens his bedroom door
[16:14] * LordBarrius tilts his head in curiousity and moves a bit closer to the bedroom door to try to peer in.
[16:14] * Avarie looks at Hadin, her eyes somewhat confused. "It's been less than a day, hasn't it?"
[16:14] * Gamer looks from behind Barrius's shoulder.
[16:14] * Diviara lies on David's bed quite unconcious and very very pale.....
[16:14] * Nicholas slowly walks over to Diviara.
[16:14] <Gamer> Oh no...
[16:15] <David> "Something has happened to Diviara's life force... it is as if he has given it up somehow... I believe he is dying"
