[19:14] Lkeas: I don't suppose you could clear up a bit of confusion? The plan is supposed to be to allow Arilar and Gamia to shoot Sieleidari, and then heal him before he dies and after they leave, right?

[19:16] Lkeas: A question was raised as to why they couldn't just be prevented from shooting him all together... in a much less disruptive way than was tried last night. My understanding was that since we had seen him shot, it is now part of history, therefore should not be changed...?

[19:17] Arden: You saw a possible future/past untill it becomes an actual one... it can be altered

[19:18] ZLOK: That's what I don't understand, won't history be that we changed it? And if history says it has been changed, why would it be dangerous?

[19:18] Arden: Once it becomes an actual one. Time is then fixed and changes will cause paradox

[19:18] Arden: The point of contention appears to be at midnight

[19:18] Arden: Which in the scenario yesterday you passed before you even transited

[19:19] Lkeas: And yet, we arrived too early, Sieleidari had not been shot.

[19:19] Arden: Changes to the timeline take time to propigate

[19:19] Arden: Until they propigate you still exist for a moment in the old universe

[19:20] Arden: And changes made to preserve that universe are NOT paradox indicusing in fact they are NORM enforcing

[19:23] ZLOK: As I see it, we need to halt them from going back and finishing the job. If they can open a temporal gate once they can likely do it again.

[19:25] * Lkeas glances at Daniel. "A few other seekers had suggested that as well. Planting an illusion or clone of Sieleidari for the two Silari to fire at.

[19:26] Lkeas: I'm still not sure that would convince Arilar and Gamia that their mission had been a success. Would they not notice that their world had not changed?

[19:28] * TaloToecan notices Damsel joining them and gives her a breif and warm mile.

[19:29] Daniel: Damsel can attest for my skill at illusion, as, I'm sure, can you, prophet.

[19:32] * ZLOK sews his chewn bit of hide into a backpack.

[19:32] * Lkeas watches Daniel carefully. "Just... curious? About the fate of the multiverse as we know it?"

[19:33] * Hazel smiles slightly at this

[19:33] TaloToecan: "That isn't exactly a promising aspect of aid, mere curiousity."

[19:33] Daniel: It is quite a big thing, isn't it? Not physically of course, but incredibly fascinating.

[19:34] TaloToecan: "As a being once motivated purely by curiosity...that bodes more for trouble, typically."

[19:35] Lkeas: At any rate... if we are to change tactics and not wait for Sieleidari to get shot before arriving... we need to think about how to prevent ourselves from getting captured by Sieleidari himself.

[19:35] * Daniel glances at Talo. "And here I thought just a little while ago you wanted the party to be larger instead of smaller like my cousin."

[19:36] TaloToecan: "Indeed, but larger for the right and proper reasons. Curiosity alone...is rather suspect."

[19:36] Damsel: "I am quite wary of complicating the issue. Changing the fact that it is not Sieleidari himself who gets shot means that we add a number of further things that could go wrong."

[19:37] Daniel: I don't think it's suspect at all. I just think it's interesting enough that I want to see. Like the prophetess thinks it is interesting enough to record.

[19:37] * Eitak_Razal smiles.

[19:37] * Arden suddenly disappears with a pop and a hiss

[19:37] Eitak_Razal: Do where know where the shot comes from?

[19:37] * ZLOK quickly turns his attention to where Arden was.

[19:37] Damsel: "If you attempt to alter the perception of what happenes to Sieleidari, how precisely do you plan on informing the true one? How do you mask the temporal distortion as we arrive, like the Silari picked up on the dream?"

[19:38] Lkeas: That's not exactly... why I do it.. I mean it is interesting, but it's more important that we keep a record so we can piece the clues together..

[19:38] * ZLOK sighs, and tosses a primitive backpack at Damsel's feet.

[19:39] Eitak_Razal: So we don't want to save him?

[19:40] Lkeas: The changes had already taken effect.

[19:41] Lkeas: If we manage to transit before then, they shouldn't detect us.

[19:41] TaloToecan: "Which means, first and foremost, that we must be sure to transit on time."

[19:42] * Damsel nods at TaloToecan. "That I agree with, reguardless."

[19:42] * Lkeas considers this for a moment, but shakes her head. "We were a new violation to the timestream because the changes had pushed us into the new reality. We were by that point already quasi-uncreated."

[19:42] TaloToecan: "Then, dear heart, I think arguing on that matter rather pointless if we are agreed to try and transit before midnight."

[19:43] Arden: The chronomancy is simple. They detected you because you belonged to a timeline that did not exist.

[19:43] * TaloToecan turns to Arden and gives him his full attention.

[19:43] Arden: Some of you in fact could have been uncreated beings

[19:43] Grett: Time of departure shouldn't affected anything if we don't stop the stasis before leaving.

[19:54] Grett: Personally I think the best choice of action is to ask the laptop to take you to the point in time just after the assassins could no longer detect your arrival, and heal him immediately.

[19:55] ZLOK: If by being present we can prevent the assassins from acting, even in inaction. Is that not what we should prefer?

[19:55] Lkeas: We've changed tactics, though. We want to stop him from getting shot all together.

[19:55] ZLOK: If they, because they have detected us, are too afraid to act...

[19:55] * Damsel frowns. "Why? That complicates the issue many-fold"

[19:55] ZLOK: However, that is unlikely of an assassin.

[19:55] Eitak_Razal: Then should we shoot the shooter?

[19:55] * Eitak_Razal produces her new Bullet whip.

[19:55] Lkeas: Perhaps if we arrive early enough to find places for us to hide, and make sure whatever illusion or plan we want to enact takes place is ready..

[19:56] * Damsel shakes her head. "Again, you complicate things."

[19:56] Damsel: "The longer we are there, the more we have the potential to effect..."

[19:56] Eitak_Razal: Then go, invisable, and stop him from getting shot.

[19:56] Lkeas: Alright, so... we arrive just in time to stop them from shooting. Then we have to do something to make sure they don't come back again.

[19:57] Eitak_Razal: We can't kill them....

[19:57] Grett: WHY do you want to prevent him from being shot, and alerting the assassins to some kind of interference?

[19:57] Damsel: "You say you wish an illusion. But what will you do in reguards to the real individual? He certainly will not alter his behaviour until he sees himself."

[19:57] Lkeas: We don't want to alter HIS behavior though. We want to make sure he... keeps on torturing... and kills Anleya and Lauren..

[19:59] Damsel: "Attempting to heal him once shot will work in our favor, for we are working to repair. Moving him away from an event yet to occur means we are the ones disrupting it."

[19:59] Damsel: "It is a matter of wanting to be the ones to heal the time stream, not damage it."

[19:59] Lkeas: But the shot doesn't have to happen. It is not set yet. Actually allowing him to get shot may change the reality we know right now as well.

[19:59] Lkeas: Remember? The wave hasn't propagated. The shot hasn't taken place.

[20:00] ZLOK: Removing the assailants before they can shoot is the least disruptive method of action.

[20:00] Lkeas: By repairing, we need to enforce what happened prior to Arilar and Gamia ever showing up.

[20:00] Eitak_Razal: Can we kill the shooter? That is very importent...

[20:00] * TaloToecan moves over to Damsel and rests a hand lightly on her shoulder, projecting soothing emotions gently to her.

[20:00] ZLOK: It is also what will give us most chance to ensure they will not retry.

[20:01] Lkeas: What will be effective, though? Allowing him to be shot? That disrupts the timeline we know. What if his near assassination changes his demeanor completely? What if that assassination attempt causes him to not kill anymore?
