[18:38] * Roch shivers and brushes ice off the rock and scroll, making sure there is nothing to interfere before he places his fingertips on the outside of the array. Closing his eyes in concentration, he focuses on what he's trying to accomplish.
[18:38] LordBarrius: "Oh, wait, you call *me* that?  Huh.  You might have told me earlier."
[18:38] Eitak_Razal: Yes.
[18:39] Rimblade: "Here, then.  We can solve all this with magic."
[18:39] Eitak_Razal: Just as long as its not bibidi Bobidi boo
[18:39] TaloToecan: "Much is amiss...terribly amiss...and I am missing the reasons"
[18:39] Rimblade: "We just need the ULTIMATE in astral thaumaturgy!"
[18:40] Eitak_Razal: Which is?
[18:40] Durroth: especially since as I recall it Eitak is a chronomancer not a cryomancer
[18:40] Eitak_Razal: What are you talking about durroth?
[18:41] Eitak_Razal: I didn't cast any magic
[18:41] Durroth: You just froze... like... EVERYTHING
[18:41] LordBarrius: "Oh, really?  Could've fooled me a minute ago.  Maybe it's fake ice coating things, then."
[18:41] Rimblade: "We simply need a vast and all-powerful crossover incantation with specified input-output targets!  I wish I knew how to make those."
[18:41] Eitak_Razal: I did?
[18:41] * TaloToecan growls as he searches about, both mentally and physically, for a reason things seem so *wrong*.
[18:42] * Eitak_Razal looks genunaly confused. She truely has no memeory of the event.
[18:42] * Shayril walks over to Barrius, searching his eyes. "So... you've forgotten us? Forgotten me?"
[18:42] * Roch finishes his mental preparation, then releases the power of the transmutation circle. Stone flows slowly, meticulously from the rock to the scroll, covering it in a thick layer of rock. As soon as the scroll is covered, the remaining stone begins to take the shape of a pestle, narrow and smooth at the handle and large and rough at the other end.
[18:43] * TaloToecan glances at Eitak again. "This is wrong...that was wrong...Memory is missing and wrong...*why*?"
[18:43] * LordBarrius fades back into his seat comfortably and looks up at Shayril. "Why do people keep saying that?"
[18:43] * Keara eyes Eitak distrustfully, backing away slightly, uncertain whether she's earnt this distrust or not, but knowing that others are concerned. Her body is tense with nerves, but she firmly retains control.
[18:43] Rimblade: "Splicing?"
[18:44] * Shayril looks like she's been struck a physical blow, taking a few steps backwards. "I..."
[18:44] * Lkeas keeps her sword at the ready as she watches Roch finish his preparations.  "I don't like what's going on here..."
[18:44] LordBarrius: "I haven't forgotten *anything*.  I said that before.  The....whatever it is....is wrong."
[18:45] * Eitak_Razal giggles
[18:46] Shayril: "The... whatever it is?"
[18:46] * Roch completes his task with a grin, the scroll firmly encased within the stone of the pestle. The leftover stone looks somewhat suspicious, with an odd indentation where the material was taken from, and Roch frowns at it slightly. Smiling again, he removes the pestle and touches the array once more, breaking the remaining stone into gravel with a loud crack.
[18:46] * LordBarrius points at Puddles. "That thing. Judging from the magic involved I *think* it's an elemental. But elementals aren't normally, er, stupid....so I'm not sure."
[18:47] * Durroth snickers
[18:47] * Kazuma is STILL sleeping
[18:47] * TaloToecan frowns at Eitak. "This is no laughing matter..."
[18:47] Eitak_Razal: Sorry
[18:47] Rimblade: "See, Metaplanar splicing procedures could explain it, if you had enough of the shadowstuff."
[18:48] Durroth: anyway, what the hell just happened?
[18:48] Puddles: "I'm not stupid, just... Um... Um... Um... Different? Yeah, different... Wait. No, no, Legault said I'm stupid... Um... Ivan said I was genius... Wait, Fiona said I was special... Um..."
[18:48] * Keara jumps slightly at the loud cracking noise, still tense. She turns to look at Roch, seeing that the noise originated from him, confused as to why he's destroying a rock...
[18:49] LordBarrius: "Anyways, long story which I'm sure I'll have to explain later.  Shouldn't we focus more on the comatose woman and the scroll?"
[18:49] * Roch takes up the pestle, with it's precious cargo locked inside, and hands it to Keara with a friendly smile. "There it is, lass. The scroll's in there, but I don't think anybody could tell to look at it." Noting her distress, he frowns. "Is anything wrong?"
[18:51] Eitak_Razal: Well, she showed up, I accidently made the bomb go off, everytihing went black then everthing was covered in ice...
[18:51] * Shayril gazes at LordBarrius with hurt, sorrowful eyes. "There is nothing more I can do for either."
[18:52] * Lkeas lowers her sword slightly and turns to Shayril.  "Is she... gone?"
[18:53] * LordBarrius tilts his head faintly. "I....see....er, well then....if it's not too much trouble, would you like me to find a better seat while I explain? Maybe somewhere you can sit beside me?"
[18:53] * Keara blinks and accepts the pestle hesitantly, she slips it into her bag where it is nestled protectively amongst a few of the smaller bags. She shakes her head in response to Roch's question, albeit her body remains tense.
[18:54] * TaloToecan glances at De'thion. "Uriel. Now, if you please, De'thion."
[18:54] * Shayril nods and accepts LordBarrius' offer to find a seat nearby. As she does so she glances at Lkeas to answer her question. "Her body is healed. What is keeping her unconsious is not something my power can touch."
[18:55] * Roch raises an eyebrow, but does not press her. "Glad you are okay, then. As for the pestle... best to think of it as a lump of rock. Until we need what's inside, that's all it is."
[18:56] * Lkeas nods grimly before turning back to Keara, a slight expression of fear crossing her face as she looks at the stone nestled inside her bag.
[18:56] * LordBarrius gets up from his chair and moves to take a seat near Shayril, waiting until she has settled before going into any detail.
[18:56] Lkeas: Keara... I... I hope that nothing happens to you or Roch, for what you've done to help...
[18:57] Puddles: "Pfft, I'll protect them with my ultimate powerrr! The one I haven't found yet."
[18:57] * Keara reaches for her board, and looks around for her chalk.
[18:57] * Roch returns the chalk to Keara.
[18:57] * Keara holds her hands at about shoulder height, palms facing upwards in an obvious shrug.
[18:58] * Keara nods in gratitude to Roch, and writes 'We're both new, no reason anyone should pay attention to us.'
[18:59] Roch: "I myself will be well, and I don't see any reason she should not be.  After all, I don't think alchemy leaves any taint on what it has touched.  Not simple matters like this, anyway."
[19:00] * Shayril takes her seat and looks at Barrius, trying to figure out what has happened.
[19:00] Lkeas: Thank you both.  I don't know what Ryuusei might do should he find out the truth of their children... but Lisa asked us to protect it at all costs.
[19:01] LordBarrius: "The basic gist of it is that nothing has been forgotten.  I believe the analogy I used was a library filled with books, earlier, in explaining."
[19:01] Eitak_Razal: What if they try and read our minds to find the info?
[19:01] Puddles: "Then I'll sing."
[19:02] * Roch nods gravely. "I'll do my best to protect Keara, then. For this reason, in addition to the usual ones."
[19:02] Durroth: Oh I dont think you have to worry about that eitak
[19:02] * Lkeas frowns.  "That is precisely why I have not elaborated on the contents of the scroll, so that as few people as possible might recall the details."
[19:02] Puddles: "You won't be able to think straight enough for them to read!"
[19:02] Oceshay: "I believe you will find that Talo and I will keep an eye on Keara's wellbeing as well."
[19:03] * Shayril nods her head slightly, indicating she follows thus far.
[19:03] * TaloToecan nods slightly, though still looking at De'thion expectantly.
[19:03] * De`thion hands the cellphone to Talo
[19:04] * Lkeas nods and finally the tension starts to ease in her stance.  "That is what has kept us alive so far... watching out for each other."
[19:05] LordBarrius: "Basically, if you take a library filled with books and dumped them in a pile on the floor, you're left with a jumbled mess of information and no way to sort through it all.  That, in essence, is what's going on up here."  He directs a thumb to his head.
[19:06] * Lisa opens her eyes which show weary tiredness
[19:06] * TaloToecan glances at Lisa in concern. "You...awoke on your own?"
[19:06] Lisa: It happens again...
[19:07] Eitak_Razal: I would say more like the pages ripped out and tossed on the floor LB
[19:07] Eitak_Razal: With the books you still have the titles.
[19:07] * TaloToecan looks confused. "Again?"
[19:07] * Lkeas follows Talo's gaze and watches Lisa carefully.  She lowers her sword to her side so as not to disturb her.
[19:07] Eitak_Razal: What do you mean?
[19:07] LordBarrius: "You're not the librarian, hush!  Go frost over a flower or something."
[19:07] * Roch nods and gathers up the gravel, pouring it into a pocket for later use. "I am glad to hear that you... we?... are in the habit of looking after each other."
[19:08] Eitak_Razal: I told you! I have no idea about how it got frozen over in here.
[19:08] * Kazuma awakens, "who set off my Zingometer?"
[19:10] * Shayril nods to Barrius, placing a gentle hand on his arm, though her eyes flicker towards Lisa. "I understand."
[19:10] * Eitak_Razal wonders what a Zingometer is.
[19:11] * Kazuma doesn't read minds, darn it!
[19:11] Oceshay: "You don't mean a portal taking you elsewhere, I hope?"
[19:11] Kazuma: no, something that measures the the intensity of  dis.
[19:11] Kazuma: ((a dis*))
[19:12] * Eitak_Razal looks at Lisa, kind of afraid at why she is mad at her.
[19:12] Ryuusei: ((Dis is rather intense.... the diabolic forces there are unplesant... Dispater's realm is not a cake walk))
[19:13] Kazuma: ((yes it is,  what's more disasterious that a non-existant cake?))
[19:13] * LordBarrius glances back at Shayril and smiles faintly. "I'm trying to piece things back together, but it may take some time...." He tries carefully resting his hand atop hers. "So, from what I've seen, am I to assume you're 'Shayril', then?"
[19:13] * Lkeas nods in agreement with Oceshay.  "You need time to rest, Lisa.  From what Talo has been able to tell us, it seems like you've been through a lot."
[19:13] * Eitak_Razal nods in agreement.
[19:14] * Shayril meets LordBarrius' eyes and inclines her head in the affirmative. "Aye. That I am."
[19:14] Lisa: I cannot rest until I know...
[19:15] Oceshay: "Know... what?"
[19:16] Lisa: My husband and son....
[19:16] Lisa: I need to know they survived
[19:16] Lisa: I need to know...
[19:16] Oceshay: "I understand. I... don't think I could rest either."
[19:16] Puddles: ((We've seen worse, you should've seen when Selarep had Selarep AND Lepres in here. Selarep's boobs jiggled.))
[19:16] * Oceshay's gaze rests for a moment on Lucian and Talo in turn.
[19:17] Eitak_Razal: ((O.O))
[19:17] Kazuma: ((XD))
[19:18] * TaloToecan looks about for a moment. "I...see..."
[19:18] Kazuma: ((and Malcolm's name being typoed three times XP))
[19:18] * Lkeas shakes her head slightly.  "I don't know if we can answer that... "
[19:19] LordBarrius: "Ah, I see.  I'll try not to make this any more uncomfortable than it is, then.  Please, continue behaving as you normally would around me.  It may help to make things clearer for me."
[19:20] * Shayril frowns faintly. "I'm... not sure I can do that."
[19:21] Ryuusei: I know you did dear.... I was counting on it
[19:21] LordBarrius: "No?  Why not?"
[19:21] Ryuusei: He has been torturing me... but I won't crack... used the cold....
[19:21] Lisa: He did the same to me.
[19:22] * Lkeas frowns, hearing the familiar voice but noting the unfamiliar inflections in tone.
[19:24] * Roch starts at the disembodied voice.
[19:25] * Lkeas turns back to Lisa.  "Why is he torturing you?  What does he want?"
[20:34] * Roch yawns with exhaustion and goes into the kitchen to retrieve his armor. The scene when he emerges is quite comical, with the bulky armor and giant battleaxe piled up in his arms like so much laundry.
[20:36] * Lkeas pulls her gaze away from Lisa as she hears the clanking of Roch's armor and turns to find him emerging from the kitchen.  She manages a small smile and moves towards him.  "Need some help with that?"
[20:36] * Eitak_Razal giggles as he emergies
[20:38] * Roch smiles back at Lkeas in a friendly way. "No thanks, though I appreciate the offer. Help would only make the load heavier, in this case."
[20:38] Lkeas: Alright..
[20:39] * Lkeas smirks.  "I doubt I'd be able to carry much anyway."
[20:40] * Roch chuckles. "I myself could only manage a piece or two without the axe, so I'd say that's accurate." Looking at Lisa worriedly, he asks, "Is there anything I can help with, once I'm done with this?"
[20:42] Lkeas: I'm not sure... I'm at a loss myself.  She may need to sort it out on her own, and all we can do is be there for her.
[20:42] Eitak_Razal: Why do you think she dislikes me?
[20:43] Lkeas: I.. I have no idea... something must have happened, wherever she came from...
[20:43] Eitak_Razal: And When too
[20:43] * Lkeas frowns.  "Something must have happened, to you... and the scary thing is, you can't remember, either."
[20:43] Lkeas: That frost...
[20:44] * TaloToecan frowns softly. "From where We came from...pieces...a puzzle...still missing a bit here and there though."
[20:44] * Roch nods slowly, shifting his load slightly. "Well, let me drop this off and then come back and see."
[20:44] Eitak_Razal: I know my limits.
[20:44] * LordBarrius frowns faintly at the lack of a response, considering as best he can what to do.
[20:44] Eitak_Razal: And that was beyonds them.
[20:46] * Oceshay sighs and leans against Talo. "It worries me... what may have happened."
[20:47] TaloToecan: "I fear what those final pieces of memory will entail to us all, dearest."
[20:47] * Roch hauls his load of armor and weaponry up the stairs. A few moments later, a loud crash can be heard downstairs as he drops the lot to the floor without ceremony.
[20:49] * Lkeas fidgets with her sword nervously.  "I still don't know what to expect.  She'd said he was after her.."
[20:50] TaloToecan: "She was surprised we lived."
[20:50] Oceshay: "Yes..."
[20:51] * Lkeas nods.
[21:00] * LordBarrius retains his frown as he closes his eyes tightly. Unsure how best to comfort Shayril and having recieved no input in that regard, he feels left with no option and finally decides to try and force his memories of her to the surface.
[21:01] * Eitak_Razal looks down. She trys to remember whatever it is that happened.
[21:04] * Roch comes back down the stairs, free of his armor. Looking at Lisa, he does the only thing he can think of that might help; he fetches a glass of water from the kitchen and holds it out to her.
[21:06] >Ambiance<: There is a blinding flash and NOVA fades....
[21:07] >Ambiance<: Memories integrate instantly
[21:07] * Eitak_Razal suddely gasps
[21:07] Dinyis: "Huh?"
[21:07] Durroth: Gah!
[21:07] Dinyis: ((Puddles*))
[21:08] * Durroth clutches at his head
[21:08] * Lkeas looks about at the people she's grown accustomed to searching for whenever a memory integration takes place.  "What have you remembered?"
[21:08] Lkeas: What happened?
[21:08] Dinyis: (Puddles) "Um... Wha?"
[21:08] Kazuma: Yes, tell me!
[21:08] * TaloToecan 's eyes widen to the physical limit of his body, gasping heavily and stumbling away as he fights the urge to wretch, fighting to get outside.
[21:08] Kazuma: Romulus is sleeping
[21:08] * Roch drops the glass, which shatters on the ground, spilling water everywhere.
[21:08] Kazuma: So I must knooooow
[21:08] * Eitak_Razal looks at Lkeas. She is unsure what to say.
[21:09] * Durroth writhes and twists disturbingly as the memories reintegrate, momentarily loosing control of his shifting energy
[21:09] * LordBarrius collapses in his seat.
[21:09] * Oceshay gasps in response, her knees giving out from under her as she shudders in shock. Shayril fairs only little better being seated, slumping over.
[21:09] * Lkeas lets out a cry upon seeing their reactions.  "No, what is this?  What's happened!"
[21:09] * Roch stares at those affected, dumbfounded and unsure what to do.
[21:09] * Lkeas grips her sword tightly as if expecting Ryuusei to appear from nowhere.
[21:10] Dinyis: (Puddles) "Um... Should I get a bucket of water?"
[21:11] * Eitak_Razal does't move.
[21:11] * TaloToecan makes the open grounds of the back terrace before vomiting in great, gasping heaves as the first wave of *physical* memory washes over his frame, reducing him to a shuddering wreck on his knees.
[21:12] Kazuma: ....Okay, I'll have Rom tell me later.
[21:13] * Roch glances at Puddles, coming out of his shock. "No," he replies. "I'll take care of the glass."
[21:13] Durroth: someone... get me something useless that you dont mind being destroyed... quick!
[21:13] Dinyis: "Eitak, use Eitak!"
[21:13] * Oceshay and Shayril weep quietly while Lucian gets to his feet, a few parts scattering from his lap. His boyish face portrays an expression of worry. "Mom? Mom?"
[21:13] * Lkeas seems at a loss for who to take care off, as so many people are in obvious pain.  Hearing Durroth's plea she grabs one of the couch cushions and tosses it to him.
[21:13] Dinyis: ((Typo, Dams.))
[21:14] * Durroth grabs the cushion, releasing a torrent of excess shifting energy into it. It deforms and disintegrates as Durroth's form restabilizes
[21:15] * Lisa stands
[21:15] Durroth: thankyou Lkeas
[21:15] >Ambiance<: A wave of cold embraces everyone
[21:15] Lkeas: By Lorithia... that was... intense, Durroth..
[21:15] Dinyis: (Puddles) "Uh... Why do I feel... Sad...?"
[21:15] * Lkeas grits her teeth and squints her eyes shut as the Cold takes her.  "Not this... who..."
[21:15] Lisa: Be calm brothers and sisters... it.. is done... you are safe... that was long ago and all is well
[21:15] Kazuma: what in the nine hells in wrong with you lot?
[21:16] * Roch grabs a broom and sweeps the remains of the glass onto the array he made earlier. As he finishes, he falls to the floor, gripping his head. "What is this?"
[21:16] Eitak_Razal: But what about me!
[21:16] Durroth: I lost hold of some of my physical modifications that required a fairly sizeable amount of energy to maintain
[21:16] Lisa: All is well and you are strong....you have lived to fight another day...
[21:17] * Lkeas 's breathing slows as she realizes this form of Cold is not meant to raze over her mind.
[21:17] Durroth: I cant handle a release of that much into my stores at once
[21:17] * Oceshay and Shayril slowly come out of the memories, the former getting again to her feet though there is a small haunted look left in each of their eyes.
[21:17] Lisa: What ever else may have happened much has happened since that time.. and.. you are stronger then you were... and stronger then he credits you for...
[21:18] * Roch has no experience with the Cold, and still strives as best he can to resist it's influence on his mind.
[21:18] Lisa: You need to remain in control.. Others need you... and you need each other
[21:18] * Eitak_Razal looks down
[21:18] >Ambiance<: The chill passes leaving only a sense of peace and defiance
[21:19] Kazuma: now somebody *calmly* and without throwing up explain why y'all act like Falerin was being disected...
[21:19] * Lkeas nods slowly, although still unsure of what it is Lisa is trying to portray to them.  "Lisa... you know we will never give up, whatever happens.."
[21:19] * Shayril moves to wrap Lucian, who still appears mightily concerned, in a hug. She turns her eyes to Lisa. "Thank you... again."
[21:19] * Eitak_Razal frowns. "Its not like they can help it... I'm surpised they can stand to let be around them now....
[21:20] Eitak_Razal: ((*Let me be
[21:20] * Oceshay gently ruffles Lucian's hair, not interrupting the hug from her other self, yet trying to let him know that things are all right.
[21:20] * TaloToecan slowly stops heaving, thin streaks of viscous bile trailing down his cheeks as his eyes threaten to roll back into his head and his body becomes rigid and taut, bringing his face up towards the sky. He feels his skin being peeled off all over again, gears and hydraulics torn away, flesh and muscle flayed from metal skeleton...
[21:20] * TaloToecan feels covered in oil, bile, blood, and chemicals as every portion down to the smallest hair is torn away and vivisected, his mind intact through the process the first time and his body staggering under reliving the experiences with integration. Torn apart nearly to the cell, and rebuilt in the same painstaking manner.
[21:20] * TaloToecan screams and howls at the agony, free to do so without grief or injury to pride or honor or fears of what he might say. A wordless and primal shout that pours forth from his throat and brings forth the power boiling in his blood and brain, fires and kinesis swirling about him in an uncontrolled Kinetic Pyroclasm of release. And the start of healing.
[21:20] Lisa: My husband is gone... I see that now... and my son taken with the other me.... It must have been she that echoed and followed... the dark analog... sonehow always younger and more feral...
[21:21] Durroth: we cant, and we NEVER have, but we've always tolerated you anyway eitak
[21:21] Kazuma: Oh....I'm...sorry, Lisa.
[21:21] Lisa: Ryuusei will be avenged and my son freed... eventually. Right now though.... we need to look after each other. We are the seekers. He cannot touch that.
[21:21] * Durroth nods
[21:21] Durroth: he will be avenged
[21:22] Lkeas: Your husband... an analog?  Was he.. killed?
[21:22] Eitak_Razal: But I don't know how much long I can be in control... That spell from before... It was the cause.....
[21:22] Durroth: or my name isnt Theighvrindt Mishir Durroth Ar-thara'nes
[21:22] Kazuma: is that really your name?
[21:22] Durroth: yes
[21:22] * Kazuma giggles.
[21:22] * Roch sighs as the Cold drains from his mind. His hands shake as he touches the soggy array, desperate for something familiar. Although the circle is blurry from the water and his mind is sorely shaken, he manages to repair the glass in a flash of shards reuniting.
[21:23] Durroth: though Mishir is technically a title
[21:23] Eitak_Razal: ((That was a good cold ya know))
[21:23] Lisa: He was.. injured and then forcibly recohered by Cartwright
[21:23] Lkeas: ((he's never been infected with it before, it's probably still disorienting))
[21:23] Durroth: but its used as part of my name all the same

[21:24] * Lkeas shudders at this news.  "That Ryuusei, he stops at nothing to gain power..."
[21:24] Lisa: If you permit me and trust me... there is an easier way Prophetess

[21:24] * Lkeas bites her lip a bit anxiously, but nods.  "It would be an honor."
[21:25] * Lisa trails a hand over Lkeas brow
[21:26] * Lkeas closes her eyes and regulates her breathing as she has been practicing during her dream sessions.  Her expression changes quickly from one of controlled calm to one of disgust and anguish as she watches the events replay in her mind.
[21:26] * Shayril takes a shuddering breath and releases Lucian, who she gives a small smile. "Sorry to worry you..."
[21:26] Lkeas: Gods...
[21:26] Lkeas: He still does that there...
[21:26] * Eitak_Razal grabs her cell phone out of her pocket and then drops it. She is unsure weather to call her brother or not
[21:27] * Lucian folds his arms and looks between Oceshay and Shayril. "You need to get better at keeping yourselves out of trouble. All this time and you're still no better at it."
[21:27] * Roch picks up the restored glass and returns it to the kitchen, sighing in relief.
[21:27] Arden: Would someone care to explain why my ficus and pear tree are in flames
[21:28] * Oceshay smirks faintly.
[21:28] Shayril: "Old habit."
[21:28] * Eitak_Razal just stares at Arden.
[21:28] Arden: In the terrace garden...
[21:28] Durroth: what?
[21:28] * Lkeas shudders involuntarily as she reaches the end of the replay, and opens her eyes to stare at Lisa.  "I am... so sorry.. and angry... what he did to you.."
[21:29] * Eitak_Razal would normally say something about a Partirge right now....
[21:29] * TaloToecan slowly lets the flames and raw kinetic outpouring die down, comforted in part by Lisa's application, and in part by the aspect of *release* that had been denied him in the original experience...reducing the tempestuous pyroclasm to more of a somewhat controlled if swirling blaze.
[21:29] Arden: They are actively burning and not normally... as if set off by accelerants and an incendiary bomb
[21:29] Dinyis: (Puddles) "Eitak did it!"
[21:30] * Eitak_Razal looks at Lkeas... "I assume what happened to me was included in that?
[21:30] Eitak_Razal: And No... That wasn't me
[21:30] Arden: I tend to think that the fact that it is some 450 degrees on the terrace right now might be related
[21:30] Arden: But since I am not fireproof
