XWF World Heavyweight Championship

The XWF Championship is the former primary championship of the defunct Xtreme Wrestling Federation, It is the top prize in the federation and is referred to as a "world" championship, which in an inside citation to the "world" of XWF. The title stayed with Backstream Championship Wrestling due to one of BCWs wrestlers holding the title upon the demise of XWF. The title was unified on May 15, 2009 to form the BCW Triple Crown Championship.

Origin
The XWF World Championship aka. XWF Heavyweight Championship was created in August of 2005 by Extreme Ameteur Wrestling. General Lee was the first champion defeating EAW Legend then XWF wrestler SafeCracker in the finals. In its 4 year existance only 9 people have held the title. Triple J became the first BCW wrestler to hold the title when he defeated Zakk Carolina and Zakk was the official last champion when he beat SafeCracker. Commander D however unifed the title to create the BCW Triple Crown Championship.
