History
The Prototype made his backyard wrestling debut in 2003 with the Crawfordsville Championship Wrestling Federation. This federation was a failed project, as it never had many wrestlers, but enough for shows. The CCWF never had an actual camera there, and most the footage was lost, so the group closed down in 2005, with Prototype becoming the final CCWF Heavyweight Champion.
New Total Destruction Wrestling
In the summer of 2007, The Prototype, a "free agent" in the world of BYW, was picked up by a federation known as Total Destruction Wrestling, or TDW. There, he announced that he was given the ability to create a new championship within the TDW; the TDW/CCWF Interpromotional Championship. He also brought along the CCWF Heavyweight Championship. He crowned himself to be the first TDW/CCWF Interpromotional Champion and explained that it is like a title form of Money in the Bank, and that it can be cashed in at anytime, then vacated after use. His debut match was a CaRnAgE match vs The Candyman. Prototype successfully defeated The Candyman with the Hard-Driver.
Prototype went on to continue to compeate in TDW until the federation and a falling out and was shut down. A few months later TDW was reborn as New Total Destrution Wrestling with The Prototype as the owner. At the first show, NTDW 0: Christmas Bash, Prototype went on to challenge for the CCWF Heavyweight Championship vs Brock Oboma. Oboma had become champion a week before by beating The Prototype in a thumb-wrestling match. Prototype went on to capture his 16th CCWF Heavyweight Championship by making Oboma submit to The System's Crash.
As the year rolled on, Prototype had dealings with his brother, Oblivion. At NTDW 8, he had his first loss vs Johnny Gunn in a Submission Match. He went on to rebound from that defeat to become the #1 Contender for Marcus Maximus' NTDW Championship. At NTDW 10: Confinement, it was revealed that The Prototype was actually Oblivion as well. He went on to face Shadow, the new NTDW Champion, and the returning Beast, a former 4-time TDW/NTDW Champion in an unsuccessful attempt.
Later in the year, Prototype created a faction known as The System, debuing ExiLe in the process, but ExiLe was injured soon after that and Prototype was left looking for a partner. At NTDW 11 Prototype got involved in a match between Brock Oboma and TANK, helping TANK pick up the victory. At the next show, TANK held up the Prototype hand symbol and used one of Prototype's finishing moves, The Redemption. Prototype responded by introducing TANK as his partner, thus creating a heel faction known as The System. At NTDW 12, TANK, with help from Prototpye captured the NTDW Interpromotional Championship and announced at NTDW 13, that he was cashing in for a shot at the NTDW Tag Team Championships with The Prototype vs The White Machismo House of Brock Oboma and Johnny Gunn. At NTDW 13, Johnny Gunn was not present at the event, due to a broken finger, so the returning ExiLe, betrayed The System and sided with Oboma to help him attempt to retain the NTDW Tag Team Championships; however, it was not ment to be as The System became the new NTDW Tag Team Champions.
The System broke up at NTDW 14, and left NTDW after a misunderstanding and the NTDW Tag Team titles were quietly retired soon after. At NTDW 15: Fright Night, The Prototype made his return as a face to face CCW's Anthony Lee in a first round quallifier for the NTDW Gold Rush Tournament to crown a new NTDW Champion, as the former champion, Shadow mysteriously quit and vacated the title. Protoype lost the match after taking his own finishing move, The Hard-driver, A.K.A. The Death Valley Driver. He went on to have a 4 show losing streak that was broken at NTDW 20: Christmas Bash II, where he went on to defeat the returning Shadow in a Christmas Present Casket Match.
At SuperSpag 5: Snow Isn't the ONLY Thing That Blows, he defeated Zaq Cass to capture the SSW Midwest Heavyweight Championship, his first singles title since becoming the first TDW/CCWF Interpromotional Champion. He successfully defended the Midwest title at NTDW 21: We Have Kitchen Sinks, but No Belts in a three-way elimination match vs the debuting Justin Stoppable and ChAoS. between NTDW 21 and 22, Prototype broke his shin bone while weight lifting and was forced to relinqush the SSW Midwest Championship.
At NTDW 26; Who's Yard is This Again?, The Prototype made his offical return to active wrestling in a tables match vs ChAoS, which he won. at NTDW 27: School's out! Scream and Shout! The Prototype yet again turned heel by siding with Brock Oboma to form the Anti-Hardcore Campaign. He defeated Danny Calahan at the same show. over the next few shows, Prototype would lose at both NTDW 28, 29, and 30. At NTDW 30, he faced his mentor Wolf of Ultimate Boneyard Wrestling in a 3 Stages of Hell match. During the 3rd stage, Prototype turned face after betraying Oboma and hitting him with a Kendo Stick. Between NTDW 30 and 31, Prototype suffered from a blood clot in his left leg and was out of action until NTDW 33: The Tom Petty Invite, where he continued to lose. At NTDW 35: Fright Night II, Brock Oboma spoke with the CEO of NTDW and had Order 66 placed, banning the Death Valley Driver and the STF, Prototype's main 2 Finishers. At NTDW 37: JAS Prototype stripped Vincent Blaze, formerly known as Shadow, of his CaRnAgE title and Zaq Cass of his SSW Midwest Championship and awarded them to himself. He went on to lose the CaRnAgE title to Danny Calahan, after Prototype used the STF and was disqualified. At NTDW 38: Merry Wrestlemas, The Prototype was defeated in a gaunlet match vs ExiLe. At NTDW 39: Twas The Night Before Christmas (Bash) The Prototype lost to Marcus Maximus. At NTDW 40 Christmas Bash III, The Prototype finally end his 13-show losing streak to defeat Vincent Blaze in a What I Want For Chirstmas match, defeating Blaze with his own Fire Thunder Driver and then making him submit to the Chikara Special, a move Prototype debuted at NTDW 38. The match was also for Prototype's SSW Midwest Championship, and, because of the match sitpulation, Order 66 was revoked and The Prototype had his moveset back.
