NWF Kids Pro Wrestling or National Wrestling Federation: Kids Pro Wrestling was an independent professional wrestling promotion founded in 1984 by Shawn Crossen and Charley Lane which grew from a home-hosted wrestling league to a local professional wrestling promotion with a nationwide cable audience. NWF was loosely connected to the form of backyard wrestling due to its early occurrence in a basement, one of various places so-called "backyard wrestling" occurs as it focused creatively on kids professional wrestling with ambition for the sport. It lasted from 1984 to 1989.
