A Supercard also called Supershow, is the equivalent replacement of a pay-per-view and its term, utilized in backyard wrestling to host the utmost and biggest matches on an event in which is off pay-per-view airing. In backyard wrestling, federations don't get deals for pay-per-view television for usually their unprofessional environment, poor attendance and the fact that PPV companies wish not to support or endorse it or have anything to do with it due to its unsanctioned sport as well. Thus, pay-per-view quality events that the federation's standards can provide are named for being Supercards or Supershows and give the upper efforts than the regular. However, the value in Supercards have drastically decreased with culpability directed to the abundant amount of shows with most of them not differentiating itself entertainingly from others or living up to the higher standards in expectation.
