The BBW World Heavyweight Championship is a backyard wrestling world championship in Battle Born Wrestling (BBW). Considering BBW has expanded almost globally, it has been sanctioned as a world title, while "heavyweight" included does not neccsarily apply to any competitor or wrestler since they are not heavyweights. It is the top championship competed for and considered the ultimate accomplishment in the organization.

History

The BBW Heavyweight Championship was introduced on the first episode of BBW, BBW 1: Battle Born shortly preceding a title tournament concluding on BBW 2: Inaugural Champion which was won by Assassin when he defeated Iron Bastard. Adan Reyes from a BBW territorial organization New Generation Wrestling had won the title in BBW to become the second marking the first outiside territory federation member to victor it.

Current champion

The current champion is "The Mexican Dream" Adan Reyes of Utah territory New Generation Wrestling, who is in his first reign. He won the championship when he defeated Assassin at BBW 4: Epic Encounter on February 18, 2009.
