Backyard Wrestling Weekly/World

Main article: Backyard Wrestling Weekly

Originally going under his real name Daniel Baldwin, a Las Vegas resident, Baldwin had express fandom in backyard wrestling already having some prior experience in it. In September 2008, he began promoting online his backyard wrestling community, Backyard Wrestling World and released advertisements on Youtube regarding his new weekly webcast program Backyard Wrestling Weekly (BWW) over two weeks leading to its premiere in October 2008.

Baldwin worried for the insufficient interest he felt the show gained from online advertisements as well as for his obscure identity to the backyard wrestling community. However, the first show attracted attention to a mixed reception, arguably due to his critical views and a partial misrepresentation of modern day backyard wrestling when he showcased wrestling clips on a background monitor of its reckless and denigrated form in retrospect. Baldwin countered with the next episode, adopting a backyard wrestling name becoming "Rad Hazard", introducing rather contemporary content with special feature segments, and began familiarizing himself as the regular face sharing backyard wrestling media.

In November 2008, as shows saw late uploading online and a switch from the airdate of sunday to wednesday, concern grew for the state of BWW. There was ongoing discussion on his show about a new Vegas backyard wrestling alliance he was uniting in his neighboorhood which he called Battle Born Wrestling.

Battle Born Wrestling (2008-present)

On December 7, 2008, came the premiere of Battle Born Wrestling based in its primary area of Las Vegas, Nevada. Organized by Hazard, it initially was an alliance of Lost Souls Division, Loco Lucha Council, Generation X Wrestling, and Top Dawg Championship Wrestling. At the event, Hazard, who had plans to be an independent wrestler there, was involved in a 20 Minute Time Limit 6-Man Tag Team Open Invitational with GXW Next Gen Champion Brainstew, TDCW Champion Mike Del Lite, El Parko, El Parkay and Brian Rouge concluding with a pinfall victory over El Parko. This, led to a Grudge match between the two that ended with the same result.

Aside from wrestling, Hazard played other separate roles in BBW including being part-time referee (primary area), voice-over commentator for events, and a dorky-looking interviewer known as David Weisner (primary area). Thereafter BBW 3: Unification, Hazard became increasingly set out to expand his alliance with additions of more federations to the lot such as Next Generation Wrestling, 2 Xtreme Wrestling (now 2 Xtreme Wrestling Syndicate), and Ultimate British Wrestling as in turn, making BBW territorially international featuring many federations from different parts of the world in a multi-cast.

Hazard vacated time off producing the next few shows in order to restart a queued Backyard Wrestling Weekly. He also slightly aided former real-life girlfriend Ria Calaway in some form of practicing to do some wrestling of her own. At BBW 5: Centennial on March 1, 2009, Hazard's character became personified by a new smirky and frivolous arrogant attitude that was adopted. He defeated LLC member, Notch-O-Libre, with the assist of Sin City Wrestling wrestler Mike Da Lite and the distraction of the referee, after which they announced their new tag team known as "Better Than You" that went short-lived.

At BBW 6: Continental on March 22, 2009, Hazard entered as the first challenger for debutant Ria Calaway (then real-life girlfriend) and her "Sin City Kitty 5 Minute Challenge" match, named as such for her promiscuous nickname "Sin City Kitty". Hazard and Calaway would go on the wrestle 5 minutes to a draw till Hazard was left on the floor after a slap from Calaway.

War on Backyard Wrestling Storyline

Due to a real-life split between his relationship with Terra Calaway (Ria Calaway), Hazard took his genuine heartfelt feelings in-storyline to a video on YouTube on June 26, 2009, stating his objective to destroy backyard wrestling because of its "greed", "curse" and "self-respect to be the best", despite his admiration for it and benefit to his reputation that caused him to prioritize it over Calaway.

Received as a shoot monologue, many submitted their responses in its regards as Calaway was somewhat blamed on account for Hazard's emotional state getting mean messages on her Myspace account. This all brewed speculation that Hazard was renouncing his creations. After clearing the air in a non-kayfabe production to explain everything was a work, in a storyline video, it became known that BWW was sold to CJ Lennon and his independent Lennon Productions company as Hazard agreed to keep operating BBW.

Radical Movement
Main article: Radical Movement

The next phase in the storyline came with Hazard's plan to form an outstretched resistance group to backyard wrestling known as Radical Movement, a cause aimed at taking by storm and terminating the practice. Hazard looked towards financing anyone in a federation who would vacate their championship and continuously created videos updating the status of the Movement. Getting declines and approvals for membership, a few such as Zaq Cass, Mike Creston and Grizzly Greif] followed his voice of reason. Calaway, although the material of the situation, was also later convinced by Hazard into joining the Movement as co-leader. With this moving forward, FX stepped up to shut down Rad Hazard for supposedly claiming he could defeat FX, both exchanging words online leading to a match at West Fest.

Pre-West Fest (Day 2) moreover, Rad Hazard, Brian Rouge and King Murder where involved in a legitimate vehicle rollover on the way to the event. Out of honor, Hazard nicknamed himself "Warstorm" the name given to his now-dilapidated truck after surviving the accident. Despite the accident, Hazard pressed on to accomplish defeating NGW members Rich Cross, Randy Cranmer and the current LWF World Heavyweight and GBYWN Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Champion Nails in a Fatal Four Way match to crown the inaugural BBW United States Heavyweight Champion. Signing wavers the same day, he went to a 3-3 draw with GBYWN World Heavyweight Champion FX for the GBYWN World Heavywight and BBW United States Heavyweight Title in a 15 Minute Ironman match (originally 30 minutes). Due to receiving multiple traumatic drops on his neck, the referee called off the match in concern. After the match, Hazard encountered betrayal by Calaway, who turned and attacked him with her GBYWN World Women's Championship to join Darkstar, and was also betrayed by JLV after a heat seeker (Stunner).

Following three weeks on the shelf, Hazard's confidence was boosted from achieving title success at West Fest because of his said intelligence, and having taken FX up to a challenge, accrediting the draw result to the referee's call claiming he would have carried on. He also spewed alleged statements that BWE and AWS had closed, feeling success in his progress of trying to destroy backyard wrestling. Launching phase two with some hesitation towards his mission, he set his sights out for the ICW supershow in Indiana, Midwest Extravaganza, where he plotted to attend and make impact for BBW with the Radical Movement he stated was already there. At day 1 of the event, new members were revealed in Bonecrusher and Johnny Light, both of whom were seen as leaders of their own in the view of Hazard and had not followed the likes of The Pen Name and Devin Bliss. Furthermore, Focalin originally against the Movement had also entered the association. In the aftermath of Darkstar member Calaway and her match with Matt Kuhstoss, Hazard saved his ex from an assault from TPN to much depreciation.

Playing a role in abedding Focalin against TPN in their high profile match including hitting TPN with a chair, Hazard thereafter revealed a swerve when he turned on Focalin eliminating him from the Movement for initially declining him to join. But ultimately Hazard himself was discharged from the Movement for assisting a Darkstar member and permitting personal issues to interfere with him and Focalin leading to Bonecrusher and Light renaming their group takeover, "Dangerous Movement".

Return of Backyard Wrestling Weekly / Debut of The Global Backyard Wrestling Nation

Two weeks after the loss of his faction and championship, Rad Hazard addressed the backyard wrestling world yet again, hoping to redeem himself by going a different path from that of the past few months and hyping a "huge event" which would "change the face of backyard wrestling forever". The very next week, Rad Hazard debuted the first of three vignettes for the return of Backyard Wrestling Weekly. On November 25, 2009, the very first episode of the revived Backyard Wrestling Weekly debuted, announcing the merger between Battle Born Wrestling and Global Backyard Wrestling News to form the Global Backyard Wrestling Nation, with Rad himself as the new chairman of the board of directors for the alliance.
