2KW entered 2009 with high fanatic momentum. The Elite greets the 10th annual season of 2KW. Kris Kage promotes his partnership with Whiplash in Zoltan and recalls the memory of uniting the NEW and 2KW Tag Team Championship prior to introducing the brand new custom 2KW United Tag Team Championship belts. Scythe confessed his reason for betraying FNB late last season, claiming he was "jealous" of the victory FNB gained over William Black for the NEW Heavyweight Championship. In an historic 6-Man World Champions match between Great Styles, William Black, Zero, V.i.P, Hollywood, and Angel Ortiz, Hollywood intentionally eliminated his partner in HollyStyles, who was the current champion as Ortiz became the new champion.
