XBW In Memory Of is a backyard wrestling supercard event and season episode produced annually and seasonally by XBW Wrestling (XBW). It is marked and regarded as the primary supercard of XBW, which hosted five episodes of the spectacular within four seasons with two in the second season annually separated.

The event concentrates on dedicating to their fallen founder and leader, Nemesis, commemorating his memory by holding a Nemesis Memorial Cup Battle Royal before the end of the event, rewarding the victor with the Nemesis Memorial Cup and the entitlement to pursue any championship of choice.

The first event was introduced in Season 2, Episode 2 (2003), two years following the death of Nemesis which at that time, XBW returned from a two year hiatus due to emotional trauma to resurrect. With that event being the inaugural of the dedicative series, XBW produced their final on Season 5, Episode 3 (2008).

In Memory Of is notable for many happenings in XBW history with the most memorable and eventful being the invasion by Train Wreck and HSK of Championship Wrestling Federation (CWF) at the second annual, who confronted XBW and participated in a Tag match. Another occurrence was the surprise return of Shawn Hartless at the fourth annual, assigned by owner Deathwarrent to compete with Ryan Stevens for the XBW Championship, someone Stevens had once never defeated.

Fans have acclaimed In Memory Of as the mecca of all of XBW, the anticipated event of all supercards. A plead had once been issued by the fans for a compilation of events in a 3-Disc Set DVD, however, the federation is prioritized with the Documentary DVD as well as the release of the final Season 5 episodes.

Nemesis Memorial Cup/Battle Royal

Annually when XBW showcases this tribute event, a trophy is rewarded to the victor of the main event whereas seen, a Nemesis Memorial Battle Royal occurs, crowning one victorious with the Nemesis Memorial Cup. In the battle royal, two participants begin the match and the rest enter at designated intervals - two minutes per entry - as the entrants enter at specific numbers formerly hand-chosen out of a box as witnessed in the second edition in Season 2. However, with the entries despite handpicked, they are factually pre-determined by "booking committee" as in any wrestling sport. After all participants have entered, the only way to eliminate an opponent is by pinfall or submission and the last man standing is the decisive winner.

Event History

In Memory Of was introduced in XBW and the fans in Season 2, Episode 2, two years following the tragic death of original owner, Nemesis. This event played sequel to the formation of Jackass Championship Wrestling (JCW) the prior episode on Revolution in which witnessed them assault substitutional referee in The Icon and War in the contest between War and Tommy Gunn.
