During the return of 2KW for the 2009 season on March 7, before Scythe fought FNB in a losing effort in a Pinfalls Count Anywhere match, Scythe admitted he was jealous of him achieving the NEW Title. As a way of escapism from having to fully confront FNB again while FNB was out to hurt him, Scythe began pulling tactical savvy behaviour starting at [[2KW Divided We Stand (2009)|2KW Divided We Stand]] by feigning bloodshed minutes into a First Blood match with FNB, allowing him victory and claiming to "outsmart" the situation using a figure gesture to the temple which made its way as a trademark. In May, Scythe engaged in a Dog Collar Chain match with FNB, again incorporating help from Elite members, but ultimately, was intensely beaten by FNB. |
