Originally known as real name Daniel Baldwin, a Las Vegas resident, Baldwin had taken an interest in backyard wrestling actually having a prior history in the participating in the practice. In September 2008, he began promoting his backyard wrestling community, Backyard Wrestling World on several video pages and channels on YouTube and got few to acknowledge his website and later released advertisements on Youtube promoting it and his new weekly backyard wrestling program Backyard Wrestling Weekly over two weeks leading to its premiere and successful attraction since.
Battle Born Wrestling (2008-present)
In November 2008, Rad Hazard discovered the existence of backyard wrestling federations in his Vegas area. His first Backyard Wrestling Weekly ad had explained that he would wrestle if there were any in his location. Soon, after announcing the formation of a Vegas backyard wrestling alliance, Battle Born Wrestling (BBW) debuted and conflicted with the Backyard Wrestling Weekly program schedule that caused time constraints with Hazard, ending up with BWW eventually taking a back seat to an upstarting territorial BBW, where he performs at the prime area as an independent wrestler.
On the premiere of BBW at BBW 1: Battle Born, Hazard prevailed in a 6-Man Tag Team Open Invitational which lead to a Grudge match with Loco Lucha Council's El Darko, who he had pinned in the 6-Man Invitational and done so again. Hazard's other roles in BBW (the prime area) includes being the background commentator for events and a gimmicked nerdy-looking interviewer known as David Weisner. He also started involving in serving as a trainer, assisting real-life girlfriend at time Ria Calaway in training sessions as she was seeking to become a wrestler.
Hazard would take time off for the next few shows in order to restart a queued Backyard Wrestling Weekly. At BBW 5: Centennial on March 1, 2009, defeat LLC member, Notch-O-Libre, with the assist of Sin City Wrestling wrestler Mike Da Lite, from which they announced their new tag team, simple known as Better Than You.
At BBW 6: Continental on March 22, 2009, Hazard entered as the first challenger for Backyard Wrestling newcomer Ria Calaway and her "Sin City Kitty 5 Minute Challenge" match, named as such for her promiscuous nickname. Hazard and Calaway would go on the wrestle 5 minutes to a draw, earning the respect of the live audience where thereafter, Hazard was left down after a brutal slap from Calaway.
Storyline on Backyard Wrestling
Due to a real-life split between his relationship with Ria Calaway, Hazard took his genuine heartfelt feelings in-storyline to a video on YouTube on June 26, 2009, stating how he idolized backyard wrestling for the benefits of making it and him meaningful, but is now out to eradicate it, holding it responsible for being a "greed", a "self-respect" to be the best in which he placed before Calaway.
