The next subsequent week putting his differences aside, he aligned himself with Scythe under the tag team collectively known as Team Stiff facing former 2KW Tag Team Champions HollyStyles (Hollywood & Great Styles) in their initial tag team match which gained additional loss for FNB. In countering his losing streak prior to the season finale of 2KW, FNB capitalized on a match with Hollywood to capture a devastating win.

In early October, FNB attempted to re-assert himself launching a "hardcore-challenge" rivalry against self-proclaimed "hardcore icon" Saylo interrupted by an arrogant Willian Black which unintentionally intercepted the challenge confirmed by Representative of Divided World Entertainment, Jamal Jackson to take place in the month as a No DQ match. Prior to the second encounter, Jackson alerted the 2KW Universe of pitting the N.E.W Championship to hang in the balance between both rivals since it's lack of defense.
