Fanstuff Guidelines
From Bsfwiki
Before you read this, please read this. A LOT of it applies here, so look over it twice. Look over it until you memorize it. However, there are a few rules that you should follow HERE to make things more enjoyable by everyone.
[edit] General
- Do not make your fanstuff above PG-13. We reserve the right to block you immediatly if you do R or NC-17. Here is a list of what the ratings mean.
- Please register at the knowledge base before registering here.
- Don't create duplicate work.
- Don't have curse words in fanstuff. Limit the language to a mild level. Basically, don't say anything that Bonus Stage censors.
- Do not edit other peoples wiki pages unless the creator of the page clearly states that other users may make edits to the page, either on that pages talk page or on the page itself.
[edit] Fan Fiction
- Please follow BS Wiki Transcription Standards.
- Besides in very rare cases, stay in character.
- If you have a story where chapters are on seperate pages, you must make subpages for them. For example:
[[Phil Gets Caught In A Jet Engine/chapter128]]
- As of 3/14/06: New FanFictions or FanFiction chapters must have at least 30 lines of dialogue. If you are not finished writing a chapter, please put something like {more soon} at the end of the transcript, to indicate that the FanFiction is not complete.
[edit] Text Adventures
- MAKE THE PAGES IN YOUR TEXT ADVENTURE SUBPAGES OF YOUR MAIN TEXT ADVENTURE PAGE. This is so if you had a page in your text adventure that said "Save Phil!", someone could want to write some fan fiction with that name.
- Stay in character.
If you see a guideline being broken, put:
[[Category:Rule Breakers]]
on the page. Please do not remove the listed catagory here, this is for easy access to real rule-breakers.
