The Desert Steam Society's headquarters is Las Vegas, with the society itself encompassing all of Nevada and the surrounding regions. So called because of its dry and arid location, The Desert Steam Society is primarily composed of Las Vegas residents, however, they often are visited by other steamfolk on vacation. The Society houses a number of crew members from the HMS Ziggurat.

Any member of the Society would always be delighted to inform any visitor or tourist about the area, and invite them to a cordial meet-up or one of the semi-annual teas.

A summer tea excursion has been proposed, and all are invited to pop on over to Brass Goggles and discuss the matter in the Geographical section of the forums.
