HB Journal for Oct 7, 1940

From Brackbillwiki

I didn't help start the washing this morning for it looked rainy. I just went down to work.

There wasn't much doing at the shop today. We just drifted along.

Jane did the washing after all, for the day turned out clear.

After supper there were slight thunder showers. I left my family and went to County Chorus practice in Lanc. We had a typical hard luck night. We had no organist, and it was final rehearsal with a choir we had never sung with before.
